Malzahn would probably take the job.

The issue though would be he can't win in Baton Rouge

M stoops
Patterson
Freeze
Cristobol
A briles
Fleck

If you were trying to hire based upon merit, you would be looking at Fickel or Campbell.

But since you are basing your hire in the need to satisfy your SJW President, it will be Mel.

Neither Fickell or Campbell want to coach in the SEC. The boosters want Tucker so that is the most likely candidate

Luke Fickell would be sick here, I really think this is our target
I really don’t think so. He’s probably not leaving the state of Ohio- he actually doesn’t seem like a good fit to me.

I'm really surprised the contrite and reformed Hugh Freeze wasn't mentioned until page 3. The right reverend Freezus would be right at home in Red Stick.

There's a bunch of y'all here who sound like the folks that wanted to hire Curly Hallman after Mike Archer was cut loose.

I'm just gonna sit back with my popcorn and watch this thing.

A lot of folks from LSU said the same thing about a certain head coach at Michigan State about twenty years ago.

Based on the trend of going from Saban to Miles to Orgeron. This would be the next logical choice,

I think Pete Carroll’s good days are behind him in the NFL. He has two NFC titles and a Super Bowl title. He’s succeeded everywhere he’s been. Age may be the only issue but he could easily take control of the SEC on a yearly basis if he was a choice.
