Realistic targets for the LSU HC job

First off, time for the Coaching Changes board to be opened @Chicken
Second off, who do you see as realistic targets for the LSU HC job? For me, I think their top targets have to be Billy Napier (ULL), Jamey Chadwell (Coastal Carolina), Bob Stoops, Joe Brady (Carolina Panthers OC), James Franklin (Penn State), and someone under the radar from a smaller school. I have no idea who they’re going to get, though. This isn’t going to be a season where a ton of coaches are readily available to be plucked, even for a program like LSU.

Given the sanctions coming, LSU won't be an attractive job.
They could get a good Group of 5 coach though.

I believe LSU admin was here in Lexington for that loss and if they were already in negotiations wouldn’t be surprised if they spoke to Fickell at Cinci.

Dave Aranda I guess. I just can’t imagine anyone from a good program going to LSU.

James Franklin I don't think is a good fit. Helluva recruiter, good coach but the SEC West is a different beast than the SEC East.

Definitely like Luke. But unless something unexpectedly happens my money would be on Franklin.

They are going to make Franklin a monster offer and make him say no multiple times

If he doesn’t bite, there’s a number of directions it could go.
Joe Brady does not want to coach college and Fickell doesn’t want to leave the Midwest
Kiffin, Arnada, Napier, Chadwell would all crawl to BR if it got them the job
Tucker is a wild card, going to depend on how he finishes the season/if he wants to move yet again

Based on the university’s president I would say Mel tucker and James Franklin then aranda
When you start getting to 5-6 on the list I think you’re in Napier, chadwell territory, it we get guys like this you’ll know we whiffed on at least our first 4 guys
