It's actually a Clemson fan posing as a Florida fan. Have seen countless comments from this clown bashing South Carolina over the past several months.

A real Florida fan wouldn't give two fricks about SC.

“What the hell is an outlaw school?”

Historically those schools operated by their own rules and were generally known as Thug U. A few of them are in conference nowadays but they are fringe schools as far athletics go.

If we were able to go back in time to circa 2011 when Missouri was set to join the SEC along with Texas A&M, would it be better to choose Memphis instead?

Let's face it, Missouri is a wet blanket. We all agree they ain't SEC. They would likely be better in the Big Ten and/or Big 12 had they stayed. They'd certainly be better off than Nebraska in the Big Ten.

Was Missouri really our best option at the time, or would Memphis have been a better choice?

I’m sure you wish Missouri wasn’t in the SEC since they keep kicking the shite out of SCAR.

Please remind me how many times the chickens have been to Atlanta…

The SEC wanted A&M for their market, and settled on Missouri to balance the addition. No one wanted Missouri.

Missouri is definitely more of a Big Ten school and I think it was them lifting their skits to the Big Ten that caused Nebraska to panic and also lift their skirt to get away from mean evil Texas. That's when the SEC stepped in knowing they could easily poach both Missouri & A&M from the BDF given they had seen the Tigers interest and knew A&M would jump for joy to get into the SEC and away from Texas.

Sure there were other choices that would have made more sense to the SEC but I don't think any of those teams were looking/available.

I still wish Texas would have gone to the Pac XVI but Larry Scott seemed hell bent on committing slow motion suicide that finally panned out in 2022 when USC and UCLA dipped out and then the final killshot came in 2023 with Oregon & Washington following suit.

There really are only 3 basketball schools worth adding: UNC, Duke, & Kansas

On the football side there are more but it's really just the usual suspects Clemson, FSU, Miami, & VaTech. With that said I don't expect to see much expansion until the ACC GoR nears end of life..

Missouri was committed to saving the Big 12 until it found out about Texas, Texas Tech, OU, and OkSt discussing the possibility of going to the Pac 10. Then Brady Deaton said they'd look into protecting themselves by exploring the Big 10. NU hated Texas and took the big 10's jr membership(agreed to take a lower payout) offer after Missouri said no. I don't know if Missouri contacted the SEC or vice versa but no one at Missouri thought the SEC was a possibility. A&M after finding out about the 4 schools thinking about the Pac 10 was sought after by Slive/SEC and Missouri got lucky coming to the SEC with A&M.

Why wouldn’t we just trade South Carolina? You figs don’t win at anything besides golf and women’s basketball. Clemson would suck our cocks through a straw and same difference?

No...we do not all agree. They are in the SEC therefore they are SEC. You dummies think there won't be programs that struggle from time to time over several sports? This is the SEC where there are many teams that can take you down in all sports across the board. Memphis????? Have you ever been to Memphis????? You talk about a rat hole. No thanks. Beale St is not enough to save Memphis. Geez.....

Mizzou. We played AAU ball at U of Memphis last summer. It was literally campus on one side of the street and dudes in do-rags smoking menthols and drinking 40s on the other. Only time I’ve ever been to Memphis. Felt like I was in a much bigger Albany GA.
