Name a QB on any of those lists that accomplished anything anywhere close to what Bennet did and like I said, did it with 3 freshmen receivers and a freshman LT.

I saw one of those QBs on the list light up the best defense in the history of college football (according to their fans) in the SEC CG.

Did Max Johnson win a National Championship- No
Did Max Johnson beat Alabama- No
Did Max Johnson go 12-0 in the regular season-No
Did Max Johnson have 2 playoff wins-No
I can keep going because Max Johnson didn't come close.

Bennett is a game manager surrounded by 5 star talent.

Brock Bowers 4 Star #3 TE #105 player Freshman
Adonai Mitchell 3 Star #64 WR #387 player Freshman
Ladd McConkey 3 Star #169 WR Not ranked Freshman

If A&M fans were right this past season, Haynes King should be #2 at worst.

lol the only 5* WR he had was out all year with an ACL tear. Regardless of how UGA fans feel about Bennett, he led Levis in literally every statistical category.

Then what does that make a QB with twice as many int’s and worse stats across the board?

Rogers should be 1 then Bryce then Hooker. That’s your easy top 3. Now where the struggle comes in is deciding the two between Levis, Jefferson, and Rattler.

I’d say put Jefferson at 4 and Levis at 5 simply because Rattler is new to the league.

Brennan is a joke. Bennett didn’t do anything for Georgia this year that 40 other guys couldn’t have done.

To be fair, Bowers would be a 6 star if they went that high after the season.

AD and Ladd though - put some respect on my boy Bennetts name. He gets no respect and yet he was dotting Alabama the FK UP in the 4th quarter.

Say what you want…I won’t argue talent, but Will Rogers 3rd year in Leach’s system will put him top 10 nationally, if not top 5.

Bryce Young: (Alabama)
He is a stud. Will have more experience under his belt. WR group is looking better.

2 KJ Jefferson: (Arkansas)
You could maybe move him lower, but I like him here. He is solid all around, ans has some weapons to work with. I expect Arkansas to surprise a lot next year.

3 Hendon Hooker: (Tennessee)
He should put up some great numbers this year. Tennessee’s offense was rolling last year. I think this is a solid spot.

4 Myles Brennan: (LSU)
Could move him lower, but he is the most experienced on this list in terms of years. Before injury in 2020 Myles Brennan was tops in the SEC for TDs.
With the elite WRs LSU has he should be good.

5 Spencer Rattler: (South Carolina)
Tough to say here. He is talented, but life in the SEC is difficult. Also will be learning a new system. I like 5 here.

Honorable mentions:
Stetson Bennett (UGA)
Will Rodgers (Miss State)
Will Levis (Kentucky)

This is my take based on their play against UGA

1) Bryce Young. Crazy instincts and crazy accuracy under pressure.

2) Will Levis. The kid is obviously nfl talented. Still a little raw in 2021, but an offseason and some help on offense will make him a very tough opponent to beat.

3) Will Rogers. May not be fair because we faced him as a freshman. Played like an nfl type offense (took the checkdown all game except for the 3 times we were in man coverage where he burned us each time). Crazy patience for a freshman qb and it was very frustrating for uga fans to play a system defense and watch him march downfield all game.

3) Herndon Hooker. He is a system QB. Great for the system. But outside of it, i dont know.

4) KJ Jefferson. He was in a bad spot all game. But he never responded. All game.

UGA didnt face the others.
I would put Stetson at #2 behind Young.

Im curious what SEC haters see as his weaknesses?
Height? Taller than Bryce
Arm strength? He completes the long ball as well as any QB in conference. And given a pocket, he can do it against any defense.
Mobility? I dont think it showed in the NCG. But he consistently makes plays out of losses.
Accuracy? He trusts a few receivers (bowers, pickens, and washington) where he was making throws in tight windows. He didnt force it much. But when he did, he had success.

Stetson's weakness is presnap and postsnap reads. He doesnt leave his primary 1 or 2 read quick enough to find a wide open 3 or checkdown and pressure forces a throw away or ill advised throw. His third down conversion suffered because of this.

He has never had an offseason where he wasnt #3 or worse on the depth chart at UGA. Ironically, he could get significantly better next year with his growing experience and knowledge of the game. Returning offensive coordinator and QB could be huge.

Brennan at 4 is laughable

He was putting up some big numbers in 2020 before his injury. Of course that was overshadowed by Bo Pellini's Keystone Kops Shut-Down Defense bleeding points & yards all over the stadium....I think if he can avoid the injury bug, he may actually surprise a lot of people.

Do you really think Stetson Bennett was the bell cow for that offense much less that team? Hand the ball off, throw it 15-20 times a game, half or more off a play action and scramble a couple of times when you have a wide open field. Dude was Ken Dorsey.

You'll have to excuse some of the Georgia fans. They're functional retards who believe because they won their first NC in over 40 years, that immediately means that every single player on their team was the absolute best at their position.
