Burrow averaged nearly 100 more yards passing per game vs Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Oklahoma than he did vs the cupcake teams.

This is bad. Burrow should be 1, Bennett isn’t even the best Georgia QB in the last 10 years. Murray and from were better, however, drew lock should be above both of them.
Burrow
Tua
Young
Manziel
Lock (hurts, Prescott, Murray, mcarron, jones all have good arguments)

Nick Marshall is way better than Stetson Bennett.
He fricking sucks. Get him off any list.

Jalen Hurts has no argument. He was literally benched at Alabama because he was playing so bad.

5. AJ McCarron
Much like Greg McElroy and Jake Coker, he was simply a product of his supporting cast.
Definitely not a top 5 SEC QB from the last 10 years.

You really have to define your parameters here but I'd take Mac over Tua every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I get all the knocks on AJ but he won 2 natty's that those teams definitely don't win if he went down.

Too many Gumps in Top 5

Who would you draft first off that list? Burrow would sit at #1 and Johnny who never beat LSU Football wouldn’t be on the list.
Mac has looked better than Tia.
The best means pick them for your NFL team.

Best at what? Giving head?

I feel like if he plays in 2012 without Smith, Waddle etc he’s basically AJ McCarron.
Dude threw for 4000 yards as a rookie and made the Pro Bowl with a pretty shitty receiving core.
He only had Waddle for 5 games his last year here and in the 2nd half of the NCG he didn’t have Waddle or Smith and still scored on every drive. The disrespect Mac gets is insane.
I think the rankings is 1. Burrow 2. Mac and then I think their is a substantial gap to everyone else

You guys are just such idiots. Tua was Burrows bitch get a clue loser. He had the greatest college football season ever and you think he’s behind bust Tua.
You can always depend on pure objectivity from an LSU fan when it comes to evaluating Bama sports.
LOLOL!!!

What other QB would you have ranked in the Top 5 in the last 10 years then if not McCarron? He won the Maxwell Award and finished second in Heisman voting in his senior season. In his junior season he led the nation in passing efficiency and in his sophomore season (and his first season as a starter) he was the MVP of the national championship game.
He has stats and he has hardware. I don't want to hear this BS about supporting cast. Joe Burrow had a supporting cast superior to anything McCarron had to play with in 2019 and yet he is far and away the best QB from the SEC in the last 10 years.

Everyone knew AJ was overrated.
Joe Burrow just took the Cincy Bengals to the Super Bowl. AJ McCarron couldn’t even beat out Andy Dalton.

Burrow against Clemson in NC game:

29/39 for 493 yards 7 TD’s
Burrow against Georgia in SEC Title game:
28/38 for 349 yards 4 TD’s
Burrow against A&M:
23/32 for 352 yards 3 TD’s
Burrow against Bama:
31/39 for 393 yards 3 TD’s
Burrow against Florida:
21/24 for 293 yards 3 TD’s
Burrow against Texas:
31/39 for 471 yards 4 TD’s

This is a good time to remind everyone that from the SECCG-Natty, Joe had 18 total TDs and 0 turnovers.
Clemson: 521 yards, 6 TDs, 0 turnovers
Oklahoma: 514 yards, 8 TDs, 0 turnovers
Georgia: 390 yards, 4 TDs, 0 turnovers
Two of those teams had Top 3 defenses
We will never see anything like that again

That definitely wasn’t what I was suggesting but he is that good so it’s easy to figure him being number 1 especially seeing what he did in 19’
