It's just one person's opinion. I'm not a homer, but the only people arguing against my list are LSU fans.

I mean I may disagree with the order, but the correct 10 teams are probably listed.

.... Had you told us on January 1, 2010 that Florida wouldn't produce a single team among the 10 best of the next decade I'm not sure anyone would have believed you. But here we are.

And truth be told, they probably wouldn't have a team make the Top 15 for the decade.

2019 LSU is greatest team EVER if they win... not just SEC. No... that is not hyperbole.

Vandy scored 38 points on you guys.

And LSU scored 66. So like I said, if you think a 28 point win is playing it close, then you have a very unusual definition of playing someone close.

2010 Auburn did most of that too,

2010 Auburn didn't play the Heisman runner up and won the BCS title game by 3. They won 7 one-possession games that season. LSU has won 3 games by one possession this year. The only thing the two teams have in common is they won the SEC, will play for a national title, and had a Heisman trophy winning QB. That's really where the similarities end.

If lsu wins, they will have this as their resume

wins over these AP ranked teams as of now

#3
#4
#5
#6
#9
#10

People can argue who is the best, but it wouldnt even be a conversation for the team with the best season of all time

Nebraska 1995 is still my #1 GOAT team. They blew out every team on their schedule including a 36 point win in the national title game.

Whether or not we agree on the definition of close, the GOAT would never give up 38 points to a 3-9 team.

This LSU team is the best of the decade if it beats Clemson. This LSU offense has only been slowed once and it was by a gimmicky game plan allowed only by an incredible DL. Unstoppable offense.

Auburn 2010 is second. It didn't lose and Cam wasn't going to let it lose.

Bama 2011 is definitely 3rd. After that, I'm not sure.

They may have an argument as the best offensive team ever...but greatest ever teams don't have defenses that have given up the numbers that LSU's D has this year nor the number of close games they've played...

And no, my best ever team wouldn't be a team from Alabama either...best team I've ever seen is still '95 Nebraska...

Auburn should have two on that list.

I don’t agree with where 2011 LSU is, but 2019 LSU should be #1. They score 9 touchdowns in 11 drives against #4 OU. That’s unheard of. 2019 LSU is the best team in recent memory and certainly best of the decade.

Bragging about beating Jalen Hurts.

Auburn beat a 2010 Heisman finalist too. I would also argue that Auburn played a harder schedule in 2010 as well.

Agree. That '95 Nebraska team is the GOAT in my opinion. Some of those Miami teams probably produced better talent in the NFL but who cares. '95 Nebraska is the GOAT.

Now, I think this poll was strictly SEC teams and specifically of the last decade. I think IF LSU wins, the 2019 team would have a strong argument. The 2011 Bama team is probably right there. It's impossible to tell because LSU fans think they'd score repeatedly but Defense amongst ALL CFB programs seemed shitty, at best, this year.

2017 Auburn was better than 2013.

according to you 2011 Alabama was the best team of the decade

I'm no sure either of those 2011 teams could stop this LSU team from outscoring them

I think 2012 Alabama would have a better chance. The defense was still REALLY good, and the offense had a lot more weapons on it. I don't know if they would win, but I think they'd have a better shot at it personally.

It's a fun debate, but we'll never know. Especially considering how the rules change. Would LSU's offense be quite as efficient with 2011/2012 rules? Would Alabama or LSU 2011 defenses be as brutal with 2019 rules?

2012 Florida was our best team of the decade (Probably a top 5 SEC D of the decade) and we were 3rd best team that year. I would put it between 20-25th for the decade.

Our team this year is just behind that, imo

It wasn't. 2017 both offense and defense was unpredictable at best and both had some crappy games. Once that offense got clicking in 2013 (after LSU loss) it was damn near unstoppable. Led the nation in rushing. Plus 12-2 with an SEC Championship and NC appearance is better than 10-4, getting bash in the SEC Championship, and a loss to the UCF douchebags.

There were a lot of great teams on the schedule that year.
