Look, we may be 11-11 in the last two years, but I'm not gonna put up with any bullshite about other schools having a better tailgate scene. It's the one thing we can be counted upon to always do right. This chart is fake and gay.
And I say this with massive respect for Ole Miss' scene and zero respect for Cal's.

There is a better chance Cal students would be out protesting civil rights or climate change than tailgating for a football game they don’t even plan to attend.
I’d guess the vast majority aren’t even aware there is a football game being played on a given Saturday.

There has to be something we aren’t aware of that cal does at their tailgates. That’s about as random as it gets , there has to be something we don’t know.

Yeah it’s called not showing up.
Putting them in a conversation with LSU, Ole Miss or even the powerhouse schools in the Big10 is a joke and invalidates anything else the author wants to convey because their methodology is clearly awful.
It would be like doing a top 10 places to raise a family and having Detroit, MI come up as number 3. It’s back to the drawing board at that point.

My now wife was in grad school at Texas in 1988. She lived a block off campus. I was visiting and we hopped in the car in the afternoon and happened to drive past the stadium on I-35. I think we had also been on campus briefly earlier in the day. I was shocked to see there was a football game being played. Would have never known it - there were no signs of life where we had been earlier.

A&M’s isn’t really that great of a scene either. Although I think that has more to do with the architecture and the grounds around the stadium that make it that way.
It’s not a knock either. I think the school finally realized this and recently announced a big project to completely redo that area where that marshy stream is right next to the stadium.

At this point I'm convinced all I need is a website with a sports-related name and an algorithm to spit out team names in a random order for any bullshite list I can think of, and I'll be a millionaire. This list is incredibly, ridiculously bad.
