1. Georgia: 11-1 potential in my opinion for this team. Murray should have a great year as a 3rd year starter throwing to King, Brown, Malcolm Mitchell along with a solid running game.

You forgot to mention OL, which is a huge question mark as it always seems to be. They were average last year, and that was with a possible first round pick in Glenn and a center who started forever. The rest of their OL basically was dumptrucked by LSU in the SECCG.

They are pretty stacked on the rest of the roster though, I will admit that. But unless they fix the OL, I actually would not be shocked if Tennessee wins this division. I just don't know who SCAR has at WR to replace Jeffrey.

We have some experienced smaller guys like Ace Sanders and Bruce Ellington coming back. As for a guy who will fill the role of what Alshon has done we're not sure but have 2 high homes.
1) Alshon's brother, Shamier (I think thats how its spelled) who everyone in Calhoun County has said has played better in high school than Alshon did.
2) Mr. Football of SC last season and alum of my alama mater (Lexington, SC) Shaq Roland.

Based on what?

Watch our defense and tell me we're soft.

Here are the only things that look clear now...

UGA and USC are the most complete teams in the east

UT and Mizzou will battle it out for the best offense

Kentucky will be by far the worst team in the division.

Florida will suck again unless they find a QB.

The SEC east will have 3 nasty defenses in UGA, UF and USC, who all return a lot and all ended in the top 10 in total defense last year.

What has Bray ever done? Serious question.

Why do people think he's good?

They've had their two worst seasons in 100 years with him under center.

You got smoked by every decent team you played...

BSU - 390 yards, 35 points allowed
USCe - 395 yards, points are confusing in that game hahaha
LSU - great first half - then gave up 207 yards rushing...
MSU - 391 yards and 33 points...

UGa was a good defense last year, but the easy schedule sort of warped those stats a bit.

Change UGA's schedule and put in Florida's schedule, and it'd probably look a bit different.

He's good when he's healthy. And they have some nice offensive weapons around him.

There is no reason their offense shouldn't be good this year, especially with all those starters back on the Ol as well.

HE may be good, but they're not. Nor have they ever been since he's been there. And yes, they SHOULD have been good all those years too.

It has yet to happen and it's his senior year. I just don't believe it.

I don't think they'll actually be a good team. I think the coaching staff is a dud.

The talent has dropped off a bit on defense as well. That DL isn't scaring anyone.

But the offensive talent is there. I think a lot of those UT offensive players on the line and at the skill positions will all be in the NFL.

where the eff are you from? in the past 2 years UT barely had any upper-classmen. in 2010 they were down by nearly 20 scholarship players with holes all over the depth chart.

You and I must have different definitions of the word smoked? Close game with USCe where we gave away 21 points on turnovers. 3OT game with MSU in the bowl with some asinine playcalling on offense and Richt's huge vaginal contraction to settle for a field goal.

I think we had some learning experiences this past season and return a truckload of talent. I'd expect our defense to look better... and the schedule got easier so inserting the 2 ton box of rape that was UF's 2011 schedule wouldn't tell us shite about how we'll do this season either.

My thought is it ends up about
UGA (upside at 12-0... probably 10 or 11 wins though)
USCe (rough schedule... drop 2-3 games?)
Vandy (on the upswing... sneak up on someone. hopefully not us. Franklin starts looking around)
UF (return nice talent on D. Need QB, WRs, and legit RB along with an OL... at least one more season of struggling IMO)
Mizzou (join the SEC while the east is down overall... good fortune)
UT (Dooley gets bounced... team quits halfway through. Alternative, they throw for a billion yards and sneak up on everyone but unlikely)
UK (Phillips joins Dooley on the open market... UK fans rejoice.)

KJ Brent is a guy that everyone raved about in practice and preseason. Not the fastest guy but 6'4 with velcro hands. And maybe DD Smith will finally translate the practice and spring performances to the field.
I'd also guess the passing game could be TE heavy. Buster Anderson+incoming freshman Jerell Adams could end up being the best receiving TE combo in the league.

I think USC is good enough to win it, but UGA has the easiest schedule to Atlanta.

UF, UT, Mizzou fill in the next three slots.

Vandy plays tough, but is Vandy.

UK at the bottom.
