Worst state in the US for business growth conditions so it doesn't sound like its going to get much better... except maybe for the meth labs?

Mizzou has a shot at the East this year. UGA has the easiest schedule, but they will lose in COMO.

I think the East is underrated this year. Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia should all be better. I expect South Carolina to be about the same since they were good last year. Don't know much about Mizzou, but I'm not expecting a pushover. Vandy will be improved. Kentucky, about the same.

Mizzou is equal to USCe? That's like saying LSU is better than Bama even though they got stomped 21-0.

Mizzou has no idea what they're gonna be hit with once they get into SEC play.

Until we perform on the field, Tennessee should be dead last in everyone's pre-season SEC predictions.

ISWYDT... both of you. Trying to set the bar low so your season will meet or exceed your expectations. That is a little below you don't you think?

My expectations for UF is to actually have a offense that gets 1st downs consistently, and have a quarterback that isn't scared. Is that hard enough to ask?

Dunno... I've been asking for playcalling that doesn't resemble a 6 year old on the playstation's comprehension of the game and consistent first downs but get let down every year...

On the upside new QB this year, right?

At most schools, yeah, it is.

If we're ranking who the best teams are then 1) SC 2) UGA, if you're ranking finish than yes 1) UGA 2) SC.

good observation.

similar thing happens with national rankings. one of LSU, Bama and Ark is going to end up with 2 or 3 losses and still be better than the Big East champion.

I'd agree here... if you are referring to the eastern division champion however, I'll respectfully tell you "Nuh Uh..."

I think last year Cincy was second in the Big East and Tennessee was last in the SEC, and we whipped up on them.

1. UGA
2. USCe
3. Missouri
4. Florida
5. Vandy
6. Tennessee
7. Kentucky

-If Florida and Tennessee manage to get their shite together in the offseason then I can see them both finishing ahead of Mizzou because both squads are more talented. However, I just don't see that happening in one off season so I think Mizzou will finish ahead based off of coaching ability.

Pease will have to be really good at teaching our 3rd offense in 3 years for us to compete for 2nd place.

I don't think MZ stands a chance against our defense though (much like the rest of the defenses they will face).

SEC should be SED.

Yeah I definitely think you're defense will run circles around them. For all of the troubles on offense the defense is still one of the best in the league.

If your offense can actually move the ball this season then you should win going away but I'm going to have to see it to believe it.

I actually agree with Cheshire. For years, Mizzou has been able to coach up 3 star kids to make them play like 4 star and in some instances 5 star standouts. That won't change. Credit the coaching. And the staff is more determined than ever to be successful because we have something to prove.

I realistically see Mizzou challenging South Carolina for second in the East (though I'd go ape shite if we actually won the East in our first SEC season). I think we can beat SC. We've done it in the recent past, but they've gotten better since we last faced them. So have we. Therefore, I predict a 50/50 chance of victory when playing them.
