3. Georgia 9-3
4. Florida 8-4
5. Vandy 7-5
6. Tennessee 6-6
7. Kentucky 4-8

What is this I don't even

Have you even looked at Georgia's schedule?
And have you even looked at what conference you are joining?

In terms of which team is BETTER I think it will look something like this:

1. S. Car
2. Gaga

3. Florida

4. Tenn
5. Missouri
6. Vandy

7. Kentucky

I actually agree with Cheshire. For years, Mizzou has been able to coach up 3 star kids to make them play like 4 star and in some instances 5 star standouts. That won't change. Credit the coaching. And the staff is more determined than ever to be successful because we have something to prove.

I realistically see Mizzou challenging South Carolina for second in the East (though I'd go ape shite if we actually won the East in our first SEC season). I think we can beat SC. We've done it in the recent past, but they've gotten better since we last faced them. So have we. Therefore, I predict a 50/50 chance of victory when playing them

South Carolina - 34
Missouri - 14

That's hilarious. Flip the score and you'll be more accurate.

Just to verify, do you seriously think that you will be South Carolina by 20?

Right... and its the rest of the SEC... not the newcomers who are "overconfident."

Explain why y'all think that we'll get destroyed by SC. Besides for "SEC is tougher than anyone can imagine" shite talk, explain why you think SC will trample Mizzou.

I think SC has just as much a chance at winning as Mizzou. I truly consider them to be about equal. I know that's hard to fathom for some of you, but they're about equal.

Mizzou won't get killed, but if y'all want to compete regularly for the East you have a LONG way to go when it comes to recruiting/talent. The talent just isn't there. You're just nowhere near UGA, UF, and to a lesser extent USCe.

Yes and Yes. Missouri gets them at home and early and South Carolina finally wins one at home against them. Had them losing one more along the way, but even if they win that one, they finish #3 at 10-2.

Their front seven eat babies, and your small O line. ML will run all over you and Conner will throw for his usual 150yds, they beat you by 14

Busey, I agree with this. But, like I've said before (and countless sports analysts have mentioned as well), Mizzou's staff has been very good at coaching players up to a higher playing level than people believe they are capable of.

It won't end when they join the SEC. Will we always get the #1 recruit. No. Hell, we won't get a majority of 4 and 5 star recruits. But, just research the Texas high school connections that Pinkel and staff have created. A lot of high school coaches in Texas completely trust Mizzou. This will happen in the SEC with time. I give it 5 - 10 years.

Because I would like to see your schedule and win/loss predictions, and then compare it to what I think Mizzou will do in year one.

I bet anything your prediction is "Ya'll will lose every game. You gonna get raped, Mizzou!" But, I'll play along with this. Here you go:

MIZZOU FOOTBALL 2012 SCHEDULE

Win - 09/01/12 OPEN DATE TBA
Loss (psst Win)- 09/08/12 vs. Georgia @ Columbia
Win - 09/15/12 vs. Arizona State @ Columbia, Mo.
50/50 - 09/22/12 at South Carolina * S.C.
Win - 09/29/12 OPEN DATE TBA TBA
Win - 10/06/12 vs. Vanderbilt @ Columbia, Mo.
Loss - 10/13/12 vs. Alabama @ Columbia, Mo.
Win - 10/20/12 OPEN DATE TBA TBA
Win - 10/27/12 vs. Kentucky @ Columbia, Mo.
50/50 - 11/03/12 at Florida * Gainesville, Fla.
Win - 11/10/12 at Tennessee * Knoxville, Tenn.
Win - 11/17/12 OPEN DATE (Probably Kansas)
Win - 11/24/12 at Texas A&M * College Station, Texas

Best case scenario is we luck out and win the East. Most realistic best case scenrio is that we go 10-2. However, we'll probably go 9-3 with losses to Georgia, Alabama, and either SC or Florida but not both.

I see 9-3 with a bowl game win to end the season at 10-3. Our team will be playing as if they have something to prove (and they do). A respectable first year in the SEC.

I still think we can beat Georgia, but I have to go with the odds that we won't.
