I’m cool if he leaves. I mean hell who couldn’t be somewhat competent with the players Bama has?

Easily the best DC Saban has had. He would be welcomed with open arms if he chose to come back to 'Bama.

I would rather he stayed, but it's not Pruitt heading to Tennessee level.

If he wants to go, by all means. If he thinks Sark can get him more money, do it. I was very impressed how he turned around our defense after the Ole Miss game. We struggled against Florida in the SEC Championship, but everybody did defensively.

If you told me before the title game our defense would hold Ohio State to 24 points, I wouldn’t have believed you. I thought we would have to score 50, just to win the game. I think he understood he had enormous pressure on him to come through, and he did. Very proud of the job he did.

As far as BAMA standard. with the offensive firepower in this conference, it’s gonna be tough to pull shutouts. You just gotta hope we can create a couple turnovers and get off the field on 3rd down a handful. We’ll have our most veteran defense since 2016 back this fall.

If Golding leaves. I would pull out all stops to get Pruitt back. Saban should pay 1/2 his buyout and get him a $2.5M a year contract. Charlie Strong is an analyst who could get promoted. Would Muschamp swallow his pride to come back to work for Saban? Who knows.

I wish him the best whatever he does.

Rumor was Strong may be headed to be Jacksonville’s DC under Urban...so he might not be an option...

Ideally, Tenner will fire Pruitt and he will come back home

had his defense gone up against fully rostered teams, they may not have made it to the playoffs.

Usually I like continuity so i hope he stays, however I will not be upset if he leaves . He took some chewings from Saban this year so I am not sure how hard Saban will try to retain him. I thought he did a decent / fairly good job by defensive standards today

I don't know if the problem is Pete or the Jimmy and Joe's. ILBer play for these last two years has been average at best and much of that is due to poor recruiting since Pruitt walked out the door.

What an idiot! You need to get back over to YOUR thread and continue to try to defend yourself against all those posters who have identified you as an....idiot.

Rumors that Golding May be on way to Texas. Would you like him to stay or take job. Serious question, defense this year really not up to Bama standard.

I know a shortcut from Houston to Austin that will say Golding a little traveling time.
