There’s a Houston $B tiger involved as well.

Still seems like Woodward will be banking on a trip to Harrahs

LSU will rob children's cancer hospitals, orphanages, and Planned Parenthood to cover the buyout.

hardly broke....

Then why steal money from a children hospital?

And if you “had so much money” then why did your AD go the cheapest route possible to hire a men’s basketball coach that is the lowest paid MBB coach in the SEC?

Did they become billionaires by putting all their money in a pile and setting it on fire?

Likely that Kelly used the Mack Brown line, "frick you, pay me".

Only way he would settle for less is if they threatened to release some embarrassing shite about him or a famuhlee member.

Obviously if Graves came up with $30M, the buyout isn’t as low as LSU fans are claiming. Pretty sure Kelly told Woodward to frick right off. He isn’t going to settle

Regardless you are not paying it. I will as a Season ticket holder for LSU games, buy 4 tickets will pay for some of it as now that BK is fired, that ticket price increase that the LSU BOS just approved will likely go through. Landry after the loss to the Yell leaders this past Saturday put out a statement saying the LSU BOS might need to think twice about raising ticket prices given the performance. My interpretation, LSU BOS call me (LSU has no president now) and let me know what it is going to to take to get rid of BK and once that is done, the ticket price issue goes away.

Just quick analysis, lets take a $25 Dollar increase per game (7 home games) that is $175 per ticket times 100k seats, talking about $17.5 Million. That funds BK's buyout at about 9 Million per year with 8.5 million left over for other items.

You get a big donor to come in to help out, as you noted that gets 39 of the 52 Million covered the first year. And again, how the contract reads from what has been cleared up is LSU did not put in a lump sum buyout like they did when they fired Miles and O (13 and 17 million, respectively).

It is to be paid over the remaining duration of BK's contract which is still 6 years. In addition, if he coaches again, the new salary is taken off what LSU still owes him and LSU only pays the differential.

There’s this other guy named Shaq, he’s helping out as well.

Shaq’s daughter said frick you to LSU and went to Florida.

I think Shaq would want to enrich his daughter’s college experience. And he has already been the grand Marshall at UF’s homecoming parade in ‘23.

Just sayin’.

Pretty crazy Todd Graves would rather pay Brian Kelly $50M to not work than give that money to St. Jude or any other number of charities going to kids or people that need it.

Shows you the priorities of those people down in Baton Rouge.
