We are going to need the back story here.
The backstory is NFLSU is making shite up to distract from his own racism.

I don’t mind them joining our conference I think it makes us more complete.
But if we add more teams in the next expansion I hope it isn’t the top teams in the ACC.
The Big 10 has 4 teams at the top and the rest are cupcakes.
From top to bottom the SEC is hard.
Look at Vandy no one wants to play them this year
Kentucky has it’s moments with 8 win seasons
Miss St is not a cupcake either
We need like Duke NC State NC Virginia
Not FSU Miami types .
It’s hard enough in the SEC now especially going to a 9 game SEC with 1 power 4 team

I honestly wasn't trying to go there, I meant it as go back to the SWC, or just leave the SEC (not B1G or ACC) really, for a non-Texas path.
We’ve been in the sec for 30 years now and along with usc our arrival set up what we had before any of these recent add ons. Why would we want to leave now that it’s more profitable?

Texas was the only permanent game I cared about. LSU is nice. Missouri is boring and I would have preferred the Aggies or Okies. But we got the queers, so I'm satisfied.
Definitely ain't looking to run from those soft fricks.

The truth is (and some won’t like it) SEC adding A&M was always about getting Texas. SEC had been lobbying hard for Texas since the early 90s. Old school Texas admin was never going to do it. Getting A&M gave SEC their foot in door in state and forced Texas’ hand in a destabilized Big 12. Only A&M people were the ones too dumb to realize it. We told them so in 2012

Remember when Aggy fans swore the SEC Presidents would vote against UTranny
President Bown Loftin was promised that Texas A&M would be the only SEC school in Texas. The secretive dealings and underhanded way our AD was ambushed at SEC media days has left a very bad opinion of Stankey among Aggies fans. The students booed the hell out of him.

Unless NIL and open portal is changed back to something that even vaguely resembles the days of those old rivalries….it doesn’t really matter.
Some schools are never going to decide to pay what other schools will to buy players….and that’s more or less the game now.
People wrote books about Darrell Royal, Frank Broyles, Johnny Majors, Vince Dooley, Bear Bryant….etc. The programs they built had an image.
Nobody is writing books about great NIL fundraising and management to create all new teams every year.
So…until that’s fixed it doesn’t matter who plays….but I do like seeing the Arkansas and Texas helmet across the LOS from one another again.

I didn’t want it. It happened. I’m over it. Only thing left to do now is to take every opportunity to embarrass them more than they embarrass themselves. I still don’t think their leftist hippy dildo parade of a school isn’t a good fit, but it is what it is.

For me at Arkansas, the only downside of leaving the swc was losing our game against texas so having that back isn’t a negative.
As an outsider who is old enough to remember that game in the SWC... Totally excited to have that matchup back... as well as Texas and A&M.
I get that traditional SEC fans don't really care about these rivalries... but for the newb teams with older fans... we grew up on these games. Texas vs Arkansas in the 1960s might have been the most competitive rivalry in the country in terms of tight games.

If you are over 45- 50 and a hog fan you realize how much hate Arkansas had toward Texas back in the day. They were big brother but we gave them hell.
Texas game always had it own week in Arkansas. DJs were prank calling Texas fans and businesses. They always got the critical calls of course. Go see the PI in the 69 game. Anyway Texas will always be our big game on the schedule. Every time we play them.

im fine with it. Now they arent over there playing Kansas, Baylor, and Iowa State and acting like its a murder's row.
No, why on earth would A&M leave? The SEC is the best league.
All the other responses are just trolls and imbeciles.

The biggest liability for The University of Texas is Austin. It is what it is.
And before you pop off - name the major University in Washington D.C.
Show me a capitol, and I'll show you Leftists.

Dont you all just love these deluded freaks. This clown is talking about baby setting while these same schools kicked their asses. Tech and Okie-State lit aggy up like a bonfire on many occasions. Tech, for example had a comfortable head to head records against aggy in this era.
Aggy was usually an easy W. BUT to be honest I miss you clown. You all provide endless entertainment as the most comical, self defecating, and under performing school in the conference. I'm sure the SEC schools will enjoy you mental midges for the same reason. Oh wait they already do.
Milkmen and all.

This is why Aggie won't dare play an OOC with TTech.
It shatters their whole paradigmatic belief system when TTech beats them.

It took a once in a generation coach at Tech and Fran at A&M for Tech to even get a whiff of evening the series.

It’s funny how Texas followed A&M, making them the little brother with regards to the SEC.

College football has made it perfectly clear that the only thing that matters is money. History and rivalries have been shoved aside with little, if any, input from the fans. In this world, I would go to the highest bidder. Big10 offers a million more? Take it and move. Big12 structures a disproportionate deal to get more money than SEC? Take it. Accept the reality of the game being played.
