This sounds like a fun exercise.

Mississippi State

@USM : biggest tossup on schedule - L (dang road games)
vs ASU : big L
vs Alcorn St: W!
vs Northern Illinois: L (we're no Notre Dame)
vs UTenn: L
@ TAMU: L
@ UF: L
vs UTex: L
@ Ark: L
vs UGA: L
@ Mizzou: L
vs Ole Miss: L

1-11 and a fresh new coach!

Okay, that was a little extreme, we likely pull off the upset against either USM or UNI so....2-10

Beamer fails when the expectations are higher, look at his time with you. He is an all motivation ra ra guy. This allows him to sneak up teams when expectations are low, like last year. But when people see him coming it’s a different story because he isn’t very good coaching outside of blocking punts.

Riiiight.

The only disappointing season he has had was 2023, and the entire team was destroyed by injury.

He's "over" achieved 3 out of 4 years.

He's emotional, yes, and that's a double edged sword. Lane and Bert got under him last year, and took him out of the game. And the Illinois game I really don't GaS about, because SC was experimenting with a new offense.

I'm not going to predict SC's record, because I don't know what the defense is going to look like with a heavy reliance on transfers. But I expect SC to punch heavy throughout the year, save one clunker (as is tradition).

I think I predicted like 6-6 or 7-5 last season so I obviously know jack shite about football lol

Mizzou

Aug. 30: vs Central Arkansas - W
Sept. 6: vs Kansas - W
Sept. 13: vs Louisiana - W
Sept. 20: vs South Carolina - W
Sept. 27: vs UMass - W
Oct. 11: vs Alabama - L
Oct. 18: at Auburn - L
Oct. 25: at Vanderbilt - L
Nov. 8: vs Texas A&M - W
Nov. 15: vs Mississippi State - W
Nov. 22: at Oklahoma - L
Nov. 29: at Arkansas - W

You could swap USCe for Vandy if that makes more sense to you, but either way it would be 8-4 (4-4)

Here it is, predicted with 100% accuracy unless someone cancels a game. What I can't tell you at this point is kickoff times.

I thought LSU fans were saying LSU and BK got this in da bag this coming season no matter what.

Mizzou came close to winning the game. The Illinois-South Carolina game was a bowl game.

Actually think we beat Georgia and lose to LSU. The only thing that may save us is its at home. It will come down to QB play and unfortunately LSU has that compared to Georgia. We saw a lot of weaknesses with Georgia without Bowers and honkey, but saw it even more without Beck. Yes, their back up is talented but not enough to carry them.i think we lose one game, but possibly none.
