Incredible that the streak survived the Muschamp and McElwain years.

LSU has won a National Championship with each of its last 3 coaches (Saban 03, Miles 07 and Orgeron 19).

Brian Kelly is next up and will run the streak to 4 in a row soon.

Nick Saban has never beaten a 9 win auburn team. He’s 0-8.

ULM in 2007

One of my best friends played at ULM during this time. Oddly enough, he's a huge Bama fan now, but that game was the highlight of his collegiate career. He still talks about it.

Mizzou has been #1 in the polls twice, 1960 and 2007.

In 1960, they became #1 after beating Oklahoma, and then lost the following week to Kansas.

In 2007, they became #1 after beating Kansas, and then lost the following week to Oklahoma.

Shorty McWilliams is the only RB in SEC history to be All-SEC for four years.
1944, 1946-48 @ State.

1945 - He was the third RB in the undefeated Army team’s backfield w/Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis.

Eligibility was loosened immediately after WWII so hence he played five years.

From 1961-1966 Bama lost 5 games and tied 1. The losses were by a combined 11 points.

Lee was the starter for the 2011 season. Jefferson was his backup until midway through Bama.

I know. He never started a seccg without being the starter though. I was replying to the fact he got his start in atlanta. But it was the peach bowl his freshmen year. Really only mauck and periloux started without being the penciled in starter barring injury of others.

Rohan jefferson and Flynn all won peach bowls with their starts. Rohan came in whats his face

2004 - Auburn 10, LSU 9 (Auburn was 13-0)
2007 - Auburn 17, Alabama 10 (Auburn was 9-4)
2010 - Auburn 28, Alabama 27 (Auburn was 14-0)
2013 - Auburn 34, Alabama 28 (Auburn was 12-2)
2017 - Auburn 26, Alabama 14 (Auburn was 10-4)
2019 - Auburn 48, Alabama 45 (Auburn was 9-4)

Interestingly enough, 7 of those 8 wins come on the Plains.

The verdict? Saban struggles with good Auburn teams at home.

Since 1992, only 1 team has finished 3rd in their division but beat both the 2nd and 1st place teams. Such a Hugh Freeze Ole Miss stat.
