Kid may end up straightening things out and being a total badass, but I'm 100% fine with him going elsewhere. He's had stuff like this pop up on a regular basis for 18 months.
Hopefully for him it is just immaturity that will go away when he gets on campus somewhere.

The coaches asked him to turn over his cell phone, just like all of his teammates and he got pissed and there were punches thrown. That's where the cell phone part comes in. More for fighting coach's over the phone.
He missed first half of the last playoff game cuz he was supposedly taking act test. Why he would have taken it anytime but the morning is unreal to me. Couldn't be true.

You take the ACT when it's offered, you don't have options if you are trying to get a score for eligibility.
