RUGBY is more appealing than those listed.

Vandy and Florida have Womens D1 teams - Florida’s team is actually bad arse. Georgia, Tennessee and Texas all have enough in-State players to make good teams.
Lacrosse is a title 9 dream sport - more girls on the field in the women’s game.
** Those if you that haven’t seen the game - the championships are this weekend/Monday. Going to be great games. Worth a few hours of your time.

Dumb that most schools don't have men's soccer.
Would have to add another women's sport with the same number of scholarships.
Soccer would be most popular tho.

I wish the SEC had NCAA hockey. I would’ve gone to so many games

The states of Georgia, both Carolinas, Texas, California, Florida and some in the New England area are meccas for youth soccer development.
I'd say soccer because it's relatively inexpensive to learn to play and doesn't require thousands of dollars in equipment.

How can the B1G, ACC, and PAC 12 have so many more sports than the SEC?

Soccer will eventually be the biggest college sport. More interesting than basketball and much, much safer and cheaper than football.
LOL, not in this country.

Not lacrosse. It is really fun to play (I played goalie in high school), but dull to watch.
It was supposed to be the next big thing in the 1980's. It never panned out and remains a niche sport.
It has to be soccer. Yeah, it's pretty dull too -- but given how big youth soccer has become & how huge it is in the rest of the world, we need it here at the university level.

Lacrosse is the next major sport.
Lacrosse is basically Ice Hockey in the summer time. No southern schools, or states for that matter, have a vested interest in hockey for it to be anything other that a club-level sport in university and an oddity in major southeastern cities.

Wrestling easy. Its one of the purest sports in the world. Just you on the mat proving your dominance.

Ice Hockey and it’s not even close. Would be so awesome to see the South competing in that.

I omitted fencing, rifle, skiing, and water polo because ... well, those ain’t happenin’.
One of these is not like the other you know.
SEC already has 2 rifle teams, 2 more and it is an official SEC sport.

Several club teams but after all these years I am going to guess it will not level up

Lacrosse
Maybe in a generation but probably not now

Soccer
This is probably the correct answer

Southern wrasslin would have a chance but that is not the wrasslin they do in the NCAA so probably not.
