I maybe wrong, but this may stem from a Radi Nabulsi tweet in which he insinuated that Pickens may not be here long. Everybody went crazy speculating on what Radi was talking about. Radi clarified that he was talking about trying to keep Pickens emotions in check on and off the field.
This could be the source, but that's all I've seen.

Who knows the truth, but I understand he was suspended the first half of the GT game for breaking Team Rules (Could guess that is missing class). He then got in a fight in the second half and missed the first half of the SEC championship game.
He was certainly a risk not to graduate from HS, but he obviously did graduate.

I hope he can get his house in order. It would be a shame to waste that talent.

Unlike Awbarn players, who are all Rhodes scholars. Oh wait, Pickens was committed to Awbarn. Those grapes are pretty sour.
