I thought animal mascots created more animal sympathy as they're anthropomorphized like Disney movie characters.

Absolutely...PETA should not be using Animal Mascots. The rest of us, however, should continue to do so.
PETA should immediately remove pictures of any animals from their advertising. It's the only humane thing to do.

Ok PETA is annoying....... but maybe the bulldog does not have to be pure white maybe we can breed it with other Bulldogs before the off spring start growing horns

Well as someone who would love to see Ole Miss football return to the success it enjoyed for decades before the year 2000 I too would love to see a return of Colonel Reb

Once the last animal mascot is taken off the field, and I am talking about the most trained, well mannered dog, PETA will then go after the cultural appropriation of human-costumed mascots. “It makes fun of actual live animals that we saved. Animals are better than people…..abortion is okay”.
