Ole Miss as our 3rd?? Don't hate it.
Oxford was hella fun.
This is a tough one for me.... If true, I'd have never expected it. I went to both!

Every year they find ways to make me less interested, great.
BAMAs 3rd most played team is LSU, they are our 4th most played team. Sad.

LSU will have lost
MSU (its most played opponent),
Florida (played every year since early 70s, every year since the 50s except for maybe 2-4 years total),
Alabama (LSUs biggest modern rival to us), and
Auburn (the newest annual opponent on this list but by far the highest amount of entertaining games year in and year out. Which at the end of the day is why we watch this shite).
For a renewal of our forced rivalry with Arkansas that never was mutual or very competitive. But did have a few meaningful games.
And our newest forced rivalry with TAMU. Which again is completely one sided. They are at best annoying to LSU fans because they were foisted upon us and latched onto us like we were their new Texas.
College football continues to drive me away. frick this.

You got by FAR your 3 most historical/traditional rivals, including the closest proximity game in the entire league. Bama/LSU is a johnny come lately rivalry simply due to 1) both being in the west and 2) both being really good over the last 15 years.

Honestly I think they pretty much went all-in on preserving history/tradition with these picks so I'm all in favor of it.
Agreed. Bama-LSU is only a "tradition" if you started watching football recently, and the only reason to preserve the "rivalry" was for tv ratings.

My thoughts, for what they're worth:
- That's a brutal draw for Arkansas. Going to be 0-3/1-2 most seasons.
- Vanderbilt is a weird third opponent for Auburn. Couldn't find a way to pair them with a Mississippi school?
- Florida and LSU got soft draws. Would've liked to have seen them be permanent rivals.
- Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Texas' opponents are all pretty much what I would've expected.
- Oklahoma - Ole Miss is a weird choice. Doubt either fanbase is thrilled about that one.

I would've rather had Kentucky than Vandy, but I guess I'll take it.

What the frick? They got State and LSU right but Arkansas makes way more sense than fricking Oklahoma

Should be Arky instead of Mizzou for A&M. The Arky games are always fun.
I feel nothing for Mizzou.
We feel the same way. Nothing against A&M or its fans, obviously a great program. There just isn't anything there other than coming to the SEC together.

Gotta say, the fanbase that’s screwed the most here is LSU. A charter member, and yet their permanents are 2 expansion programs and Ole Miss?
I can’t speak for them, but I recall some epic games with Bama and Auburn. To get neither of them seems a slap in the face.

You're calling Ole Miss a layup? Hard disagree

The next 4 years are what we get for having Napier the last 4 years. We are on the same level as Kentucky/South Carolina in the 2020's.

How is Auburn fricked? They lucked out getting to play dogshit Vandy every year.
