I dont mind UK as we've played them more than anyone in SEC outside of UGA and AU but S.Carolina?!?

As an LSU fan I really don’t get why this site seems to operate under that assumption that LSU TAMU is forced.
We have more history games wise than LSU auburn. We are both ag and petroleum schools with a MASSIVE shared alumni stronghold in Houston. Shared recruiting grounds. Etc etc.
I hate losing UF and Auburn but LSU tamu makes sense with history and geography.
The one I would give up for auburn or Florida is Arky but we were destined for Arkansas because we don’t have anyone else for rivalry weekend.
I don’t hate the Arkansas game and in fact like it but find AU and Fla more fun.
As for bama-big game lot of history absolutely hate them etc but it never had the fun of auburn or Florida for me for whatever reason. Maybe it’s my age but Florida in my formative years with spurrier was the more consistent bigger dog and we have had some crazy games with them 97, shoe game Tebow phone game etc

Bummed we didn't get Aggies or Ole Miss instead of Missouri. I'll take Texass and the Tiggers though

Ole Miss Should be Arkansas' third rival, not Missouri and not LSU.
That series goes back 100+yrs and it's two next-door fanbases who interact a lot and are historically very similar.I like LSU and all, but this is just the SEC fricking things up yet again.

I'm not surprised at all that A&M is one of them but they are still a Big 12 school with no championship pedigree and we have never had a meaningful, heavyweight matchup with them. It's the same with Arkansas. Compare that to all the epic battles with Alabama, Florida, and Auburn and the disappointment makes sense.

This blows for LSU. Nobody really cares about A&M and Arkansas. Going to miss Bama and Florida regularly on the schedule.

I get that as as much as I hate to see the game go annually, I understand...I just dont get the need for the 3rd permanent. Unless im missing a team, the only teams really in a bind as far as "3rd rivals" were LSU and Bama. Again, giving Bama Aub, LSU, and UT is a tough ask...as well as giving LSU Ole Miss, Bama, Florida. I can see removing the permanent game...I just dont understand the rationale for the 3rd game

I guess they felt bad for us with what Napier has done. I would have had TN as our 2nd team if I had my choice.

Surprised they did KY that way but then again who knows how bad we will be the next few years.
