So incredibly sad. But I'm glad that she's no longer suffering and that her family and friends got to say goodbye. One of the greatest coaches in college basketball history and not just because of the wins but because of what she brought to the sport.

Sad day for Pat's family and for anyone who likes basketball. Also a very sad day for the SEC and most important, Tennessee.

RIP, Pat. You were the best.

I don't hold a lot of Vols in high regard but Summitt is a true legend. Probably will not see another quite like her in our lifetimes. I saw her speak one time a few years ago and from that moment, I had to learn more about her. She is everything great you find in a leader and a person. A true and classy Southern lady. RIP

Born in 85 living in Kingsport till 2003 and Knoxville till 2008 I didn't have many role models bigger then Pat Summitt and Peyton Manning.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to learn how to live my life watching.

I am so sad that she isn't able to live out her days with full understanding of how big of an impact she made on the world and truly savor her success. This disease robbed her of that and for that reason it will always bother me.

RIP Pat.

RIP Coach Summitt. SHE was the kind of person this country could use as President, a person with strength and integrity.
