I'd put the o/u at 2.5 and I would bet the over.

Their remaining schedule has the following:
UTSA
@ Tennessee
Oklahoma (Neutral Site)
Florida
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
@ Missouri
@ LSU
Arkansas
@ Texas A&M
If you think they have three losses left on the schedule, what are they?

There’s not a team left in the schedule we won’t be favored over, but obviously anything can happen.
I think @ Death Valley is most difficult.

I would really love to see them lose to MSU and LSU. Not quite sold on either.
Would find it funny as hell if they lost to A&M. Honestly, that loss would be the best for all our sakes.

I think it’s going to be exceptionally difficult for any team to get thru the 9-game unscathed. One loss is exceptional. 2 losses and you still got a really really good team.

Did you forget the playoffs?
Reread my topic question.

They likely go at least 10-2 so 1.5 on the regular season losses.

You might not be favored over LSU.
LSU might well be ranked higher than Texas come that game.

I could see the over if that defense doesn't get better , especially the secondary.

Longhorn here. The reason is was imperative that we beat OSU is because we likely take 2 losses in SEC play. It's been listed as one of the toughest schedules in CFB this year and that will likely play out.
Oklahoma is a rivalry game. Regardless of talent, anything can happen in a game like that.
Ole Miss is no slouch.
The month of November is 3/4 games away. LSU at Tiger Stadium will be a difficult win.
Aggy in College Station will not be an easy out either.
2 losses is not out of the realm of possibility, at all.

They were playing Jeremiah Smith
Held Ohio State to 3 points in 2nd half

Ain’t going to be a popular sentiment but any team with a similar level of talent AND depth will be a tough out for Texas as bas as their QB play was through 3 quarters. Ohio State has a depth issue or had a depth issue due to the heat and humidity…time will tell. OSU defense was sucking air and had their hands on their hips the entire second half. That means slightly larger passing windows, slightly larger holes and poorer tackling. Not taking anything away from Texas….depth is ALWAYS the deciding factor when 2 teams with similar levels of talent meet. Texas was either deeper or better conditioned for the game and it showed badly late in the game. That isn’t as likely to be the case against the better teams in the SEC. OSU was also lacking in coaching….going for the kill shot and not the win was a horrible decision…and also not as good in 1/3 of the game, special teams. That is also unlikely against the top of the SEC. Any team in the SEC with less than 2 losses is a serious natty contender, and Texas ought to be one having gotten by a major hurdle. Time will tell…..ATM and OU are both huge rivals, anything could happen, and LSU may be the best team in the nation….time will tell. 10-2 looks pretty doable though….

Amen. UGA probably has the most mageabke schedule of any of the “top” teams in the SEC and it includes Alabama and Ole Miss on the road and Oklahoma in Athens, not to mention what appears to be solid Missouri, SC, Florida and Auburn. 9 games in the SEC is tough….recent nattys and one off games not withstanding playing a 9 game sec slate against teams loaded with 1 and 2 round draft picks is different….add in a 10th game in Atlanta and you better have some serious depth

At least two. They won’t have the refs able to cheat for them the rest of the year. Refs were terrible about not calling holding
