New hatred will gear towards LSU. From maltreatment in New Orleans, to alleged spying on OU practices, to obnoxious drunk fans on Bourbon street, there's bad blood and wounds that never healed.

Only explanation for that massacre is cheating, aye? LSU must have spied on all of its opponents that year.

Nothing to do with the game? 2003? Disengenious...

I would have thought you would have been more upset about the 63 - 28 embarrassment we laid on you in 2019. lol

If we are still in your dome from 20years ago I like it.

I mean, I welcome the rivalry sure, OU is the team I am hoping we have something with, but yall gonna have to get a thicker skin than that if you coming into the SEC.

You have already broken the first unwritten rule of the SEC: Never admit to LSU that they are your rival. They have been wanting a rival for a century, constantly bouncing from hating Ole Miss to Arkansas to Florida to Alabama to Auburn to aTm, searching for someone to hate them enough to care.

We dont really need a rival, we hate everyone

Red river rivalry is going nowhere. I dont expect tex and aggies to be in the same pod. Lsu aggies will be the rivalry for its pod winner.

Why would Bama respect OU?

Stems from the 2002-2003 home and home series. But you’d have to be my age to really understand that at this point. Younger fans don’t care.

OU fans have the entitlement attitude of Bama, but without the success.

I didn’t go to the game in 2003/4. I did hear a lot about it.

To be honest a lot of OU fans were uneasy to be playing in that game after getting blitzed 35-7 against KSU.

Anyway, I did go to the game in Atlanta. I didn’t find LSU fans to be all that inhospitable. Maybe that happens when you get your arse kicked.

How does OU feel about piss balloons?

I feel like LSU/OU rivalry is going to get very good very quickly.

Congrats on being the tallest midget in the little 12, because this season will be OU's last legit shot at a conference title for the next decade.

I am hoping we are more competitive than we were against LSU. That OU team still had a lot of questions to say the least on defense and as good as Hurts was he isn’t winning a shootout.

At least in the years before while the defense sucked we had offenses that at least gave us chances.

Seems we have truly turned the corner on defense. Good lord we were horrible on defense there for a few years - to the point where I couldn’t fathom why we would ever punt the ball.
