Proof you have never been to Austin or attended a game at Texas. Texas fans are incredibly cordial to visiting fans and you would know this if you had a fricking clue rather than living in your alternate reality.

Both are arrogant but Texas fans are much more arrogant, white collar and that is tied to state pride.

Oklahoma fans are less arrogant, blue collar and are proud but don't let pride get in the way of be narcissists.

Texas by far, those pr*cks have destroyed 2 conferences

The Big 12 still exists. The SWC died because you can't have a conference with teams from just one state.

I am fine with addressing legitimate criticism, but for the love of God, will Missouri fans please stop banging this idiot drum.

At least we use proper pronouns.

Y'all sure do.

I took my daughter to admitted students day a few years ago when she was deciding where she wanted to go.

Campus was nice, loved the layout, and the areas they walked us through were good. The entire tour though was riddled with “my pronouns are “ and all manner of gender and sexuality focused groups. Even the professors we met dropped “my pronouns are” in their intros.

She ended up going to a different SEC school because she didn’t like the vibe in Austin.

You have no idea. Just wait

Sips always looked down on the SEC and after sucking fo so long they finally said F it. Let’s go to conference they clearly are not a fit.

The irony, with the 12 team playoff, they would have been in pretty much every year in the Big 12.

The NCAA lost the Alston case before the supreme court on 6/21/21. The Houston Chronicle broke the story that Texas and OU would join the SEC on 7/21/21.

This timing was not an accident. Texas didn't want to be involved with SEC-level cheating. Once it became legal for players to be compensated, we picked up the phone, said we wanted to join the SEC, and it was done in a matter of weeks.

It was shoved down the unwilling throats of aggie leadership & fans, so I can see why you make up nonsense stories to try to cope. You do this for every aspect of your failed athletics program and inferior university.

As an OU fan, I think both fanbases have some in common. Very arrogant because of their history and have narcissistic expectations. Outside of that they’re actually nice. I do think OU fans are less delusional about their roster and what to expect than Texas. Being from the border, they can literally win 4 games and think the next year they will play for the conference title along with a top 5 class. It’s actually impressive to hear.

I never realized how douchey OU fans could be until I went to school at Oklahoma State. I would imagine it’s probably a lot more mild than your average SEC fan honestly. I have many LSU and Arky fan friends and they’ve been telling me that OU would be on par with Vandy and they meant it and that includes the Mayfield and Murray years.

Well I'll pull the fact that Texas and OU have not played a SEC schedule yet.. So yall absolutely do not have a right to be arrogant about anything, yall were simply not part of the SEC during that time of domination. And thats a fact jack.

Also, I was just proving the point that the SEC is better than most other conferences in football. and that stat proves it. not talking about individual teams, but rather the conference.

How many other conferences have had 4 teams in the conference win atleast one national title in the last 20 years? I'll wait.

lol no they do not, but of course an aggie has this opinion on the matter after feeling insecure around longhorns his entire life. Your own fans tell us we’re not hateful enough around “our true rivals” and bullshite like that, but now we’re too mean in real life?

Yea, the threats of piss balloons and harassing Texas fans whenever they eventually visit other campuses on this site really screams “decorum”

I think you need to get in touch with reality more if you really think Texas fans are any worse than the other fanbases on this site. Including your own.

I have attended many games in both Austin and Norman over the years. Most of the fans that attend the games are pretty cool. There is always a few that are assholes but for the most part everyone at the game is having a good time and being cordial. I also have many friends and relatives that have gone to tu or ou and they are all pretty cool.

This site seems to bring out the extreme assholes from both schools. I know it is a trash site full of trolls and smack talk and I do not have a problem with that.

One of the best experiences we ever had at a football game was with some Arkie fans that were tailgating next to us at Jerryworld. They were a blast. We actually met up with them the following year as well.

In what way, shape or form has Missouri been more relevant in Texas in any sport over the past 15 years?

I’m half-expecting this answer to be “well they play in this here SEC, buster! The best league in all of da land!!!”, which will be entirely too on brand for the average intellect of a graduate from most SEC schools

The rivalry died because NEB left for the B10. You're making stuff up. Why do A&M and Mizzou fans keep parroting this nonsense?
Because they’re incredibly insecure having been little brothers their entire life.

Whats hilarious is the SEC probably gives them even less respect than their prior leagues (evidenced most by going behind their backs to add schools that they despise and think are the boogeyman). Yet they still bitch, moan and whine on this site begging for backup from fanbases of schools that don’t give a shite about them and never have

All because they aren’t strong enough themselves to stand up to big meanie bullies Texas and OU

Honest question, what the frick does Texas have to be arrogant about? Is it mediocracy and losing seasons, bc clearly it’s not about winning?
Actually it’s being the premier public school for academics in this league (and the country) and the fact that they have more national championships than any other public school in the country sans UCLA

Also, they’ve been awarded the director’s cup for the best athletic dept in the country 2 of the last 3 years, with a shot to win it again this year

But I’m sure there are tons of years an SEC team won the directors cup for having the best athletic dept in the country!

Oh wait…

I'm pretty sure Missouri won the SEC East their first and second year in the SEC... I'd say thats pretty relevant. Considering over the last 20 years its more common than not for the winner of the SECCG to win the natty.

How many times has Missouri played in the national title game ever? How many times has Texas played in that game in the past 15-20 years?

Youre literally using your own logic to downplay your initial premise

Dude, come on. Bama, UGA, LSU and Ole Miss (and maybe Mizzou) would be VERY difficult games for anyone in 2024. No doubt.

After that, the rest of the SEC is no better than K State, Okie Lite and Tx Tech. I'm not concerned with most of our SEC schedule.

No Texas alum/fan thinks we will go undefeated and win the SEC every year, but people need to quit acting like every week in the SEC is a juggernaut.

SEC fan has been talking for several years about how OU and Texas were going to get thrashed in the SEC due to the "grind"...

Very similar to how SEC fan talked for months about how Texas was going to get thrashed by Bama last September.

The fact that SEC fan can be wrong gives me a faint bit of hope my Sooners can compete. Not much...but a little.

being in a good conference doesn't give you the right to be a fricking asshat...a lesson most sec fans have yet to learn. Still hilarious that you call us arrogant. Pot meet kettle.
