And OU won 8 of 9 prior to that. There was nothing magic about being in SEC that year.. You had Johnny Football, when he left you fell back into mediocrity. The bottom line is that that game 9 years ago, is no more relevant that the 77-0 beatdown you took 9 years prior to that game. And after that game A&M averaged 5 losses a year for the next 5 years in the SEC... after averaging 6 losses a year for the previous 5 in the Big 12.

It was your first year in the conference, and thus you were still using Big12 players. Hadn't even gotten a recruiting class yet. I hate OU, but truth is truth bruh.

OU hasn't been weak in road games. OU plays it's best football in the biggest venues in America against the best OOC teams. The bigger and louder the road game venue, the better we do.

OU will have it's shot to do just that. In fact, I think OU just may win it all this very year. They most definitely have improved on defense and that's no joke folks. OU Is good and I believe very good, even good enough to win it all.
They had better be because:
This is not the BIG 12. You don't get a playoff berth unless you are a legit title contender in this league and:
Oklahoma could be in danger of becoming the next Nebraska. The majority of OU players come from TX do they not? The SEC is about to start dipping even harder into TX especially if OU has a couple down years. I can see LSU, A&M, ARK & OM doing some real damage to that recruit pipeline. Bama already gets what they want.
If I were OU, I would scream we should have stayed in the BIG12. You were the big fish in a small pond. Now, you may be one of 5 or 6 teams with a shot at the title with it's players all coming from out of state.

Anyone with eyes recognizes that A&M is a superior team to OU as of today. Hence why we finished 4th and you finished 6th.

wow, you beat us with a once in a lifetime QB when we had some of the worst defenses that has ever taken the field for OU.

OU will be good in the SEC. they won’t dominate like they did in the Big 12, but will be another top tier program added to the mix.

I dunno. Our style of play took them by surprise in the first three-four years of our time here. They're better prepared now and the road will be bumpy for the two.
