Hey Oklahomaby AUTubaHerdquote:I guess Auburn fans gleefully celebrating an injury was always the logical conclusion to this week's college football news cycle. Even so, this thread is sad. The injury directly led to the cheating. We’re pointing out the irony, especially after OU fans spent the weekend bragging about getting away with it.

Hey moron, they didn’t know about the injury until after the game. So a gimped up QB went something like 13/17 in the final few possessions of the game and beat yall .

MessageOU QB John Mateer expected to miss 3 or more games with hand injuryby Soonerd78First the pussy Auburn fans chanting karma … sorry he kicked your arse one handed lol….. Good thing is it’s only 3-4 games and we have a good backup .

Good backup? Are you kidding me?

Except he did...then fumbled.

Might want to check with the SEC on that, they said the overturn was correct
MLB partners with AUSL

quote:

The Athletes Unlimited Softball League will launch its inaugural season on June 7, and Major League Baseball is pitching in. In a first-of-its-kind partnership with a women’s professional sports league, MLB announced Thursday a strategic investment in the AUSL to help the fledgling softball circuit become an established, sustainable entity. The investment, which is part of MLB’s ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of softball at all levels, will include joint sales and marketing efforts, extensive promotional support and broadcasts on MLB Network and MLB.com to raise the visibility of the AUSL and its athletes.
They have to stay in a hotel just like everyone
I believe that if OU wins one game against Florida, they clinch at least a share of the regular season title and two wins clinches it all

OU much like Bama is still adjusting to the end of a dynasty run. They had stoops and Riley run..which was a great one...but they haven't adjusted their expectations to the new reality yet..again much like Bama fans.

At least Bama was smart enough to go sign a proven winning head coach to replace their coach

The problem bama is gonna have with KdB, is that you will see the same issues that he had at Washington. He'd go out and beat a top 5 team, then turn around and lose the next week to someone unranked.

Saying he sucked was NOT because of a botched trick play, we know to lay that shite at the playcaller's feet (back in the Lincoln Riley days he used to call trick plays which were always a toss-up as to whether they would work or not).

No, our issues with Sharp are due to his not making a catch in a crucial situation, something which to be fair probably happened less than memory serves but make no mistake, they DID happen.

How many third down passes did he have thrown his way, where the ball hit him in the hands or chest and he just flat out dropped it. I stopped counting
quote:

Go watch that INT he threw. Nobody blocked on the play and it was ridiculous. I can’t think of one person that could have thrown a legit pass

It was a ridiculous call anyways by your OC. Saying a TE sucks because he can’t complete a trick play pass is funny as hell

the pass could be perfect and more often than not, Sharp would drop it. I stopped counting how many 3rd down passes hit him right in the hands or chest and he just flat out dropped it.
OU Insider reporting they he will have a "No Contact tag meaning he knows where he wants to go

Nothing official yet, but OUInsider is reporting that he has informed his coach that he plans on entering with a no contact tag.

To be clear its the same issue I have with Rammer Jammer which is just a repackaged Ole Miss cheer. It’s too entrenched to get rid of but it’s not my favorite because it was borrowed from a cheer already in use.

Not really knocking it, we stole Yales fight song so...

quote:

Let me walk you through this.

A guy born in Alabama…
who lives in Alabama (Fort Payne to be exact) near the AL-TN line…
in a band called Alabama…
wrote a song about going on a date and having relations with a girl from TN…
He called it Dixieland Delight, Alabama being “The Heart of Dixie”, as per a state tagline at the time…
Given that TN isn’t the heart of Dixie, the song is about growing up in Alabama.
well, seeing as the song is inspired by the town of Leiper's Fork, Tennessee, I wouldn't say it was about Alabama

The game is occasionally at 2:30 pm. I prefer 2:30 pm. some fans prefer 11 am at the end of the day, the networks decide, but it’s in the contract it can’t be at night

Not to mention that the Fair closes at 10pm so 2:30-3:00 will be it's latest kick off

And yes, 2:30 is the best time for kickoff

If true, it's good for Washington and Oregon and it's curtains for the Pac 12. Interesting to see who the Big 12 wants to pick up from the remainder.

I'm very curious about Stanford. I think the Big 10 wants to use Stanford to pair with ND if they can bring ND in (they're the last remaining team of note not in the SEC or Big 10). ND plays Stanford every year and it would be a very reasonable pairing both to appease them and add another west coast team for that part of the Big 10.

But if ND isn't ready to go to the Big 10... what does Stanford do in the meantime? Join the Big 12 and deal with potentially leaving that conference later? Go independent (they can afford it)? No idea how that might play out.

AZ has already applied for B12 membership and, from what I hear, ASU and Utah are in the first stages of requesting membership
YOu mean the same Bama team that got boatraced by the last place team in the Big12?
Late hit is a dead ball foul meaning the safety would have counted.

ETA: watch the video, there was no late hit the Texas defender tripped over Young
As many times as it takes
