Wouldn’t OU and Texas want to stay another year and play with the JV opponents? OU and Texas are the favorites to win the B12 this year according to Vegas

Can’t speak for shorthorns but OU wants to move as soon as possible. And if you look at that sham schedule the B12 came out with you’d understand why.

That’s not a bad schedule if I’m OU

Lose K State and BYU Cincy and UCF aren’t that great. Cincy is in rebuild mode

I think TCU has a big fall next year

I think Texas and OU both will win 10+ games, maybe 11 or 12

Gave you an upvote for even mentioning Paco Rabanne. His cologne was my go to scent in my single days.

If change of conference is delayed, Ga vs Ou should be put back on schedule and SEC conference should have to pay OOC opponent Ga had to schsedle

We would murder OU where they are right now. Losing the game helped OU more than us, we just prison raped the best team in the big12.

This Bama fan will be glad when it happens. Looking forward to the competition and having two of the most history rich college football programs in the nation in the SEC.

If you are scared just say scared. RTR!

PeteThamel: The effort for Oklahoma and Texas to leave the Big 12 a year early and join the SEC in 2024 has stalled and at this point is unlikely to come to fruition.

Keep us posted, who gives a crap…..

How many boxes of Girl Scout cookies would Horns and OU need to sell to buy out Fox?

The business acumen up in here is somewhere between Jethro Bodine & the "Step Brothers".

You really think Texas & OU have a voice in this negotiation? Please tell me y'all are not this clueless.

Texas and Oklahoma will join the SEC in 2025

Can we trade Tulane for UTx - austin?

Tulane has one of the best uni's in college baseball

Tulane has a beach volleyball team

Tulane has beaten Southern Cal more recently than Utx in CFB

Tulane women are insanely hot and classier that Utx - austin women

So what are the 7 games that Fox loses that command premium advertising?

Any seven that they could contractually get that had OU/UT playing in the game. Doesn't really matter the opponent.

I hate Texas but being honest about this......the Big 12 wants Ou/Texas to stay another year in hoping TCU,kst,etc...can beat them a couple more times before they leave. They need the remaining teams to give the perception that they're "programs" like OU is which they just aren't
Are… are you trying to convince us that Missouri is one of those “programs”?

They did the same thing to A&M, Mizzou, Nebraska and Colorado when they announced they were leaving
Nobody balked when those teams announced. At all. If anything, most of the big 12 was happy those teams left. On the other hand, Texas and OU carry the big 12, and they know once those two teams leave, life is going to be very different financially and exposure-wise.

A&M is not Texas or OU

They clearly don’t have the 100 million smackers to get out

Spending 100 million to get out of the Big 12 without the ability to offset the expense is illogical.

I know you went to A&M, but it's not that complex.

It is incredible that they don’t realize every other school doesn’t want to burn &100 million when they don’t have to.

But they signed jimbo to that ridiculous contract only to be beneath App State, so maybe aggies really don't understand the simple nature of that concept…

They scared, poor, or both?

Neither, they are smart, Fox asked for a ridiculous buyout, one that would be stupid to pay for one year leaving early. No need to do it. People around here seem to forget that the original deal was for 2025 for a REASON. And the people suggesting anyone is reconsidering are high. That ain't happening. Right now I'd say they are 70-30 for 2025 vs. 2024. Personally I think the Big 12 will regret it from a PR standpoint.
