I will thoroughly enjoy the Fig12 sticking it up the asses of these clowns for a couple more seasons. Looking forward to the texas loss @ UofH next year. The fact that Texas has to go to UofH in their maiden season is priceless.

Honest question - is there any penalty if Texas or OU do not proceed with joining the SEC ? Because, at least for Texas, I always thought the PAC-12 was the better destination.
It seems to me, any thought of Texas or OU staying in the Big12 is now done. Does it really mean they're coming to the SEC, though ?

It's a done deal. Only contract negotiations with Fox, ESPN and the Big 12 remain. But the longest they'll stay is until the end of June 2025. Then they'll be joining the SEC for the next academic season.
