Is it? The state of Texas already has extensive SEC coverage due to A&M, and the sips following A&M all the time. Texas adds no additional TV sets in the state

Oklahoma? More of a third world country than the state of LA

In terms of new markets your absolutely correct. But with the way TV is going it will not be long before ESPN becomes a pay service you need to add and Texas and Oklahoma both have massive national followings which will drive revenue

I find this article hard to believe. We have heard nothing about realignment in a while now. Suddenly, some writer comes out of nowhere and says UT and OU could be joining the SEC within a couple weeks?

Seems to be a pretty reputable writer. Aggies can probably give more insight.

So many questions. Does the West lobby to rotate the SECCG to Nola every other year?

Why would t we move the offices out of Birmingham? It’s not longer centrally located.

Even if ESPN is willing to renegotiate the SEC's tv contract, and eliminate the LHN, I'm still weary about letting Texas into our conference. They have proven time and time again that they see themselves a more important than the conference they are in. Inviting them into the SEC could be akin to inviting a vampire into your house
shut up pussy.

This is the sec. we don’t run, aggy does.

We created the conference championship game. We nutted up to covid.

We only took sheep like aggy and Mizz so we could get TV sets.

Texas won’t push the sec around. Grow a sack, son.

It adds eyes from every Texas Longhorn fan in the state, and there are millions of them. Texas also has a massive national following. The SEC's TV deal would go up by A LOT if those two schools were added. Stop being dumb.

It's not wrong. Most of the money value of new programs is the ability to charge in-footprint rates for the SECN to more people.

All Texas cable subscribers already pay in-footprint rates for the SECN because of A&M. Adding UT doesn't change that.

Oklahoma residents would start paying in-footprint rates. But there's just not all that many people in Oklahoma.

So if the rates charged in Texas stay the same. And we can only get additional revenue from thenprice increase on Oklahomans, I'm having trouble seeing where we would get enough new revenue to feed 2 more mouths.

The SEC already got paid for the state of Texas. It would increase viewers, but no more money would come. The SEC already played this card.

I think you’re catching the point, some team is going to try to get the path with least resistance, the biggest hurdle is how to fairly break it up so it’s not too heavy, not too bare, not too hard or too easy, just even divisions

Awesome. Then you won't have to play Tulsa or Memphis anymore.

Zwerneman is about as anti-A&M as it gets. He's a borderline professional troll.
