If we get to 20 SEC wins with this schedule then you’re talking about being in the running for #1 overall seed

When FIFA first awarded the US the 2026 World Cup a 8 years ago, Tiger Stadium was on the preliminary list to potentially be a host, but it was contingent on having construction completed to widen the field to meet the minimum FIFA standards and LSU didn't want to do it.
Clearly the FIFA organizers have never been to Louisiana if they thought about hosting a tournament in an outdoor stadium in June

Sure it’s more fun when LSU basketball is winning, but no one cares enough about LSU bball to make this level of “investment.”
Personally I would rather see Jay get his indoor facility before we start pumping money into basketball.
And spare me the revenue generation argument. Jay has earned this and needs to be first in line for program upgrades

If he does so, it should be done out of genuine empathy and not as a publicity stunt. Not everything has to be a troll job or clickbait. Im sure there are several in Oxford he is still close to, and I don’t doubt that he would be willing to help. But genuine kindness doesn’t need fanfare or ulterior motives

Nebraska volleyball got 92,000 to a game at their football stadium.
As others have mentioned, the configuration wouldn’t allow for it. But hypothetically speaking, if the school really incentivized it I think we could really challenge that figure. Couldn’t be a Tuesday night against Northwestern State. Would have to be a Saturday night against Arkansas or something, with planning a year or two in advance

it wouldn’t even come close to selling out. Between the passion of the fanbase and the novelty, I think we would probably flirt with 30-40k.

The eye has never been a prominent part of the team’s identity or insignia. It works for other sports, but it needs to stay away from baseball. What we already have with the interlocking diagonal is the most perfect logo on campus

Outfield graphics in baseball usually turn out tacky
Also LSU baseball typically doesn’t use the eye for its insignia or branding

Especially if the idea was to protect his draft stock. NFL would know it anyway, and it’s coming out now at any rate
