LSU did not add those two players in question out of fear of forfeiture of the game. Not because of right and wrong. LSU has not stood-down because this lawsuit proceeds, despite threats from the SEC.

It's not their lawsuit. They are not the plaintiff in any lawsuit.

If you don't fill those last 2 spots you left open for pro players, then you won't be.

LSU didn’t fill its roster, what’s your point lmao? USCe and Texas have former pros rostered on a TRO & Chambliss is literally in his 6th year on a TRO.

The SEC needs to be reminded it is still subject to the rule of law. Being a private entity doesn’t empower you to do illegal things.

LSU left the spots empty and postured as though it could/would fill them at a later date depending on court cases or other factors.

Nutjobs. the SEC would’ve voted Alabama out for dominating the conference for the last 20 years.

Then why didn't they? They played a pro basketball player.

You publicly accused another charter member of racism. Those unnecessary below the belt punches are only one reason why I am tired of your institution.

Right, which is why I don't expect you to be kicked out.

LSU just needs to change directions and you'll be fine.

No, but LSU needs to fall in line

Fall in line with what? Going 8-5 every year. Y'all do that, if you want, but no thanks here.

I can only speak for myself as an Auburn fan, but I do not want to see LSU expelled. They’re part of the fabric of the SEC.

I sincerely hope some off-ramp is found to this whole situation.

No to expulsion, but if the AD and admin can’t get LK to fall in line, he’s going to force the hand of the conference.

For what exactly?

The halftime quote was gas on a smoldering fire. It was stupid to do it, and now the conference is stupid for this response. It’s a situation where the conference commissioner, likely with the support of the other members, is forced into not backing down because of this threat. If LSU, and specifically Kiffin, respond with the equivalent of go frick yourself, this is going to turn really stupid quickly.
LSU may not have broken the new rule, but saving the roster spots and making comments are an intentional poke in the eye for no reason except to be crass. The LSU admin is along for the ride. The other institutions, rightly or wrongly, feel LSU needs to get in line. I think it’s all stupid, but egos are clearly involved now on both sides. It’s a black eye for the SEC and for LSU.

you dont think ESPN would have a say so if you kick a ratings giant out?

you absolutely get money from LSU.
