OU is barely a school. I’m convinced it’s a football team that wears a school as a t-shirt.

Of course you would send your kids to A&M.

You mean statically an Oklahoma beat down of Texas. Very lopsided rivalry in favor of OU. They owned the SWC and Big 12. You were another Baylor to them

65-51-5 in favor of Texas is a very lopsided rivalry in favor of OU?

What’s this about the SWC? Tell me more about Oklahoma’s proud long term history in that conference.

Nobody cares about a student quota. Doesn’t mean your students are actually smarter. Makes more sense for the institution to educate more people than to be a social club that only so many can join. College is about educating more, not limiting

Texas is a public school that acts like it’s a private school. I have nothing against Texas. However I don’t care much for elitist type people

Damn Natty lights kicking in.. sorry let me spell it out for you…

* Oklahoma: 14 Big 12 Championships ??
* Texas: 4 Big 12 Championships ??

Oklahoma won 10 more than Texas and won half of all Big 12 championships during OU’s 28 seasons in the conference.

OU’s titles: 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020.

Texas: 1996, 2005, 2009, 2023.

Oklahoma absolutely dominated the conference championship category: 14–4.

Since the 2000, Oklahoma leads Texas 17– 9

Over the last 50 years, OU still leads leads Texas 25–23–2

Beyond 50 years…. STFU

Name a better rivalry than Texas vs Oklahoma two blue bloods all-time programs? the only ones that compare Ohio State vs Michigan and Auburn vs Alabama, which isn’t as elite of a matchup but definitely has the hatred.

You can say nobody cares about the iron bowl outside of Alabama. Nobody cares about Ohio State, Michigan outside of people from Ohio and Michigan yada yada yada yada you can downplay anything in the world if you want to.

History doesn’t begin on a magical date that allows for a parsed argument. So do better.

OU in the Stoops era was great. No argument there.

Now please go into Oklahoma’s great SWC history you were talking about.

Can you break that down a bit more? I’m particularly interested in how that correlates to present reality. Can you expand on what that has to do with anything?

I know there is nothing you can do about it nor did you have a say in the matter, but not a single frick is given by any SEC team (even the fanatics on this site) about freaking OU-Texas and whatever Fairgrounds you guys play each other at.

The narrative I always heard was UT ruined the Big12, so maybe it is your fault.

Go back to playing Nebraska and K-State. All you guys have done is kill rivalries in the SEC from taking place anymore.

Either way, who gives a shite. We are here for SEC football.

Just updating everyone that the series is fairly boring. Statically speaking the majority of the time .. OU wins. OU goes to the playoffs, OU has more heismans, OU is the premier program. That is all

I mean it’s close. There’s OSU/Michigan, iron bowl… that’s it. Texas/OU is right behind Ohio state-Michigan for most ranked match ups (third isn’t close). Give me UT-OU atmosphere for a better game
