Only thing UT does professionally is throw mustard. God awful disgrace as an organization and fanbase.

So... if you consider ESPN to be a "professional pundit", your statement is incorrect.

Hooker is rated higher than Bennett in every professional publication and QB ranking lists that I've seen posted, and there are many, with the exception of the one you just listed.

Tennessee is consistently mentioned as one of the most explosive offenses in the country and Heupel is listed as one of the best play callers in the country. Georgia isn't.

The only group of posters arguing against any of this are Georgia fans.

Cope in whatever way you need to. We're here for it.

We have a National Title Winning Offense dumbass. One that we held down in the second half to kill the clock.

Neither hooker nor bennett will play much if at all in the nfl... but hey, its college football.

Okay... I provided a source saying Bennett > Hooker. Feel free to post some evidence to support your views.

Again, I'm not talking about NFL potential... the NFL is different from college. I'm talking about college rankings.

You keep saying "everyone says"... so finding a link should be pretty easy.

By the way... here is SI's best offenses for this upcoming season:

LINK

UGA is #3. Tennessee is #24.

The reality is Bennett outperformed Hooker per snap last year. He'll likely do the same this year.

UGA's offense overall did the same last year and will do so again this year.

But congrats on running a lot of plays.

I think you misspelled Defensive depth…. Or you are just wrong. Pick one and stick to it.

People on this board have been fooled by the garbage time impact on uga offensive stats, so it’s no shock others who get paid to talk about football have been as well.

Good thing we have advanced stats to compare such things objectively.

Let’s do yards per play excluding garbage time:

3rd: Uga 7.43
11th: vols 6.63

Your repetitive, lazy takes only show your ignorance, and after you see this list of stats, it’s gonna be your usual time to run from the thread……..

Non-garbage time vs FBS opponents:

Points Per Drive: 4th
Points Per Play: 3rd
Yards Per Point: 3rd
OFEI: 3rd
Offensive Available Yards %: 6th
YPP adjusted: 3rd

Drive efficiency: 4th
TD rate: 4th
Value Drive Rate: 4th
Busted Drive Rate: 3rd
Turnover Rate: 5th

Even first half production that statement falls apart.
Passing TDs
UGA 25
Tennessee 23

Passing yards
UGA 2537
TENN 1968

Even stretching into the third quarter, UGA was only 1 TD away from ranking 1st in conference at 9.

Irrelevant.

Due to commanding leads, Uga throttled down its explosive offense to kill clock while marching towards the national title.

Add in some dragons, a midget (Bennett can play him) and a great quest, and they would be a cool fiction short story. Nothing in Bennetts career says anything but below average, none of the WRs would start at decent SEC schools, and Monken’s air raid has an outstanding track record of being subpar.

UGA was given an opportunity to win a national championship based on a weak schedule, great D depth, and key Bama injuries. They won inspite of a subpar O.

If we go by averages.

The average score at half:

UGA 22.1 Other team 4.6
UT 22.6 Other team 16.2

To me it is fairly obvious why UT had so much offense (although they barely scored more per game than UGA). They desperately needed to score, because they either barely led or trailed at half. Meanwhile Stet was either on the sideline getting a dip or handing the ball off as UGA mercifully bled the clock on the opposing team.

9 second half passes, the entire regular season by UGA. That’s fact not fantasy, and the reason is we were up by 2TDs or more at half on damn near everyone.

Only if you ignore 2021 when Bennett had a top 5 yards per attempt, top 5 passer rating, top 5 QBR, and 2 MVP playoff performances.

Offensive Available Yards %: 6th
YPP adjusted: 3rd
Drive efficiency: 4th

At the end of the season I'll be surprised if reality does not show Georgia to be on this list.

Wrong. They play to win. Don't be such a noob.

UGA is 3rd in conference for total offensive plays in the first half.
251 pass attempts to 250 rush attempts (501 total).
(And as such, we are also third in conference for passing yards).

In the second half/overtime, we are last in the conference for plays per game (30 offensive snaps after halftime per game).
Tennessee (with a losing season) finished 2nd in conference behind Ole Miss at 38.5 snaps a game after halftime.

We won the national championship because we were healthy enough to do it. You accomplish that by bleeding clock and getting backups reps in the 4th quarter.
