Ole Mrs. getting snitched on for tampering is telling me one thing

We all know that coaching is just one big fraternity. Once you are in the club, you just get recycled and passed around from job to job- the members take care of one another- unless you do something to embarrass other coaches or shite on one out the door.

With Ole Mrs. getting turned in for “tampering” this tells me that there really is no professional respect for Golding. No one is concerned about burning a bridge with him for future employment because they don’t think that he will be a long term fixture on the HC front.

So in this case, Coach’s aren’t afraid of turning him in and torching him.

The proof is in the pudding as we all know Coach’s worth a shite are “tampering”, but to date NO ONE has called any of these HC out on it.

Nothing would be more quintessentially NCAA than sitting back for years watching the whole thing burning down and then trying to put the screws to Ole Miss as they seek to take a step up into the higher echelon of programs.

In a way they're the perfect target. Nobody will speak up for them, the sordid past, outside of the Mannings they don't have that many ambassadors, no powerful political personalities to go to bat for them at the moment, the media will probably side with the NCAA, etc. I admittedly would be amused to see it happen, but it would also be complete BS.

He got turned in because he crossed a line that the coaching fraternity has agreed you do not cross. Plain and simple. Dabo laid in out in his presser pretty clearly.

Pretty much this.

I bet the courtesy “Hey, we know what y’all are doing so stop fricking around” calls between programs happen often. Golding chose to ignore it.

I mean...they did it to LSU and Will Wade. Even if "everybody else is doing it", the key is to not flaunt it and thumb your nose up at the NCAA. Allegedly, Pete did and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar (twice).

It would make sense. They’re a historically shite program of little to no relevance. If they put the screws to them not much would be missed. Kind of like how the NCAA would get so mad at NC they’d punish Southwest Montana Community College

All this proves is that Dabo is a bitchmade dinosaur who refuses to adapt, and who will likely be unemployed within 18 months.

Drop the Hammer on the program and drop them from sports for 3 years. Time to make an example for cheating outright.

More indicative that Dabo isn't in the club and is way out of his element in the modern game, which just about everyone agrees with.

He just went back to the Chad Morris well at OC. Worked in 2012 I guess.

What about Fresno State? They not in the club either? I guess Golding was just unlucky and happened to tamper with the only two programs with coaches who aren’t in the club.

I couldn't name the Fresno coach with a gun pointed at my head. But I'm sure he has some pull in the collegiate football landscape.

You can probably find it in the article about them turning Ole Miss in for tampering as well.
