He might beat up women but the man can coach. He would be their best chance of becoming a basketball power.

He and Kiffin would be the number 2 basketball-football coaching combo behind only Saban and Oats.

He can bring in Chris Brown as a mouthpiece for the program similar to Duke bringing in Drake.

John Wooden and Adolf Rupp could rise from their grave amd coach Ole Miss for the next 20 years and they still wouldn't be a basketball power. They've only made the NCAA tourney 9 times. Only made the second round three times and have only one sweet 16. That's pathetic my man.

After what Bama basketball is getting away with this year they definitely should.

Wooden was a great coach who recognized talent and knew what to do with talent. His philosophy and style would win anytime, anywhere.

Beard would take any program in the SEC and have them competitive within a few seasons.

Exactly, so swing for the fences. Nothing to lose by going with Beard

We are the only program in the SEC that could afford to take this risk. We have the worst basketball history by far in the conference

Ain't life hell. Beard would have won a national title or two at Texas imo.
