I don’t think you’ll like the results this would bring

Pete is a better recruiter and our defense is significantly more competent than our offense. Not a stretch to assume we could do better than Kiffin

He’s the best we’ll get, more than likely. I’d prefer to change OCs and see where we go from there.

Ole Miss will hire Deion sanders next

I mean losing two games by a combined 6 points is not the end of the world. It's not like we got blown out by either team. In fact, I think it would be fair to say we very easily could have and should have won both games. I don't think anyone can deny that.

People like to talk about Kentucky being a bad team but they're being dishonest with themselves. They lost to a good Vanderbilt team and no one can deny that that team is good. And they lost to LSU who came off of a bye, night game, home game, Ole Miss lost both #1 WR and #1RB by 4th quarter.

Last year when we won 11 games there were plenty of games decided by three points or close to it, sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way.

Everyone is acting like these transfer portal. Players didn't work out, they've been some of the best f****** players on the team. Nolan has been phenomenal. The only one that hasn't really panned out is juice Wells and that's only because he's buried in the depth chart. Otherwise it has absolutely been worth it. If anything, we needed more portal players.

How will that help when it’s pretty much Kiffin running the offense?

They only have themselves to blame for not being undefeated up to this point, sure. But to compare their situation to Jimbo Fisher, say they have no forward process and state that their only option is to move on from the most successful coach in school history is stupid

The problem you aren’t addressing here is money. Ole Miss threw all they could in money at this years team. They can’t afford to do this year in and year out

Horse shite. Ole Miss could be dangerous with a good coach. Lane Kiffin is the most overhyped coach in the NCAA

He’s been hyped since he went to Ole Miss, he only had 1 10 win season in his entire P5 career and he has a pretty bad record at Ole Miss since then. He’s an above average coach. Nothing more. He’s hyped because of his personality and because sometimes he’s capable of spoiling a really good team’s season.

People on this board thought it was stupid when I said that. Good to see a lot of people coming around.

LSU was down about 8 guys that have already or would have started games this year.

And this solution can 100% work if you buy the right guys.. but molding them together in a way to make it work is the trick

Its not necessarily buying the right guys, but it takes a special kind of coach and motivator to bring a bunch of paid mercenaries together to form a cohesive unit and team that plays well together quickly. I don't think Lane has that level of strength or the personality type to bring in a bunch of new faces and turn them into a true cohesive team that plays with selflessness

People on this board know you are stupid. This has nothing to do with any Kiffin takes you may or may not have given.

Are you under the delusion that Lane isn’t calling your plays ? I don’t care what puppet they put in the booth. Lane is your play caller.
Does he have his head buried in a playbook all game like Sark? There's no question Sark is running the offense, it's not totally apparent with Lane though.

Juice Wells is a starter opposite of Tre Harris. While he has had some issues catching the ball, he’s not buried. This is a typical Kiffin team. One guy is going to be the main focus of the offense other than the qb, whether it be Tre Harris, Quinshon Judkins, Elijah Moore, all the way back to Derrick Henry and Amari Cooper. The offense tries to feed one guy over and over and flops when it doesn’t work.
