How are y'all feeling going into this game? My honest opinion from an LSU fan, I love our defense, but the offense I saw in the first last Saturday night has me concerned. I think if Ole Miss puts pressure on Leavitt, they can have a lot of success.
My nervous/concern level is at about a 7 out of 10 right now.
Either way I hope we see a competitive 4 quarter ballgame. I expect the crowd to be at a 15 out of 10

As an Ole Miss fan I have been concerned about our secondary like everyone else. I think lsu will be able to move the ball and score. Can Ole Miss score enough? Our WR room doesnt seem to be as strong as last season but I do trust the OL. Ole Miss will have to score in 30s to win.

I could see either team winning by a little and either team winning by a lot. Lane has typically folded under big pressure so it will be interesting to see if he can keep his cool.

This one is difficult, to be honest.
I don't feel great about it, but if I was an LSU fan, I also wouldn't feel good about it, either. It really could just go either way. Like I've said in other threads, I give LSU the edge but nothing would surprise me.

I gave Ole Miss the edge due to it being at home and having Chambliss. But again it is a toss up.

I do not feel confident at all. Our WRs have been terrible outside of Deuce and I don't like the matchup of DJ vs Deuce.
I think we struggle to move the ball. Just hope Leavitt brings his A-game in making bad decisions.

I honestly kind of feel like we haven't seen either team's best shot yet. It feels as if both teams have been a little more vanilla to try to hide things for this first conference game. Both teams will be ready for this one and it should be a good one. I'm excited to finally get it over with.

I don't know what to take from LSU's offense struggling with LT for 2 1/2 quarters last week. Leavitt looks about what I thought he'd look like. Ole Miss has had some secondary struggles but they're getting a big piece back in starting safety Sharif Denson for LSU which should put human highlight reel (in a bad way for Ole Miss) Anthony Robinson back on the bench.
That said, LSU looks absolutely dominant on defense. Clemson proved against GSU that it's not gonna break any records on that side of the ball. But of the 4 main phases, LSU's defense appears to be the most complete unit. Ole Miss is kind of waiting on some WRs to emerge outside of Deuce Alexander and they're not healthy at RT right now. Think it's gonna come down to who runs the ball best and who limits the big plays. I think the 2nd part of that favors LSU.
I'd give LSU the edge today I think. I'd bet the under and LSU to cover.

I know for a fact that we have sandbagged on offense, however, that also means that there is a lot we haven't tried in a game setting, so it could be complete failure.

My two keys to the game for Ole Miss
1: Successfully pressure Leavitt to help out our secondary.
2: establish a solid run game to help open up the middle of the field.
For LSU
1: limit turnovers

Or Ole Miss by 50. You really can’t tell which one would happen.

I think for LSU to win, they have to jump out in front early and then suffocate on Defense. The longer the game is closer, the more likely the emotion of the whole game wills Ole Miss to victory.

We spent almost the entire first half of the Louisville game running between the tackles. I didn’t see the Charlotte game, but you could tell the game plan was to just run Louisville down and it didn’t work.
