I think both fanbases are more nervous than excited about this game, and whoever wins will be relieved more than happy. Whoever loses will have an epic meltdown.
Ole Miss will melt because of the obvious losing at home to the coach who left, LSU would melt down because they didn’t pay top dollar to lose to Ole Miss.

So Vegas thinks LSU is a 5.5 to 6 point better team on a neutral field

The 3-point spread seems right, but after watching the LSU - La Tech game, it seems like the total of 58 is too high. Last year was 24-19 (43 total) and I'm thinking this year might be even lower scoring than that.

I mean sort of, but with a line movement like that it's really more of a reflection on the early public money.

I do not feel confident at all. Our WRs have been terrible outside of Deuce and I don't like the matchup of DJ vs Deuce.
I think we struggle to move the ball. Just hope Leavitt brings his A-game in making bad decisions.
Chambliss is a wildcard & we have more issues on offense than it would seem from the stat sheet.
But I think our defense is actually very good.
It’s too early to really have a handle on either team IMO. Going to learn a lot this weekend.

I don’t deny it will be tough that’s for sure
