Not. At. All.
This is Ole Miss' biggest problem:

He isn't a elite QB.

Lsu trailed the while game no I'm not giving trashy lsu credit

If Dart was protected the way Nussmeyer is he would be averaging 500 yards a game and we wouldn’t have any losses or even close games. Also, the playcalling tightens when we have a late lead. No matter how small.

Dart missed some throws in the game (the INT was an easy TD but underthrew it very poorly) but overall was definitely not his fault

The playcalling is dumb. Kiffin refuses to call short and intermediate passes. Every play has to be a 30 yard bomb in his mind for some reason

Over/Under passing yards in the Battle for the Golden Egg? With the worst d-line in the country, he may throw for 500 against us. Every QB we play completes nearly 80%.

Dumb blonde syndrome. Same problem that Kiffin has.

He has not been good. That interception Saturday night was a Bo Wallace special

They will put 60 on us because our there are high school teams with a better DL than us

Dart isn't the issue. Their OL is trash and made our defense look better than it is.

Lane is their biggest problem. He had a chance to take three points in The first quarter. Rather than do so, he went for and turned the ball over on downs. Those three points cost him the game. He gives up more points year after year with dumb decisions than any coach in the history of football. His ego to run up a score cost him twice in the first half. the first time was the fate to take three points, the second time occurred was less than a minute ago in the half. Rather than simply kneel on the ball and take a seven point lead to the house, he tried to push it down the field the ball. Cost him a turnover and another three points. These six points are 100% attributable to his Unnecessarily, aggressive decision decision-making. He fails to properly assess risk and reward every single big game. Likewise, he refuses to learn from his mistakes. He continues to get a pass because he coaches at Ole Miss and they don’t hold their coaches accountable The same way the top-tier programs do. We fired two coaches who won national championships because we weren’t happy with their decision-making and direction of the program. It is exactly why we have one three in a row with three separate coaches, and will win a fourth with this coach.

Look for him to fake a fallout the rest of the way to protect his spot in the draft. It's not going to be just Ole Miss but as teams fall away from the 12 team playoff, they will take a seat.
So... if Bama loses to tenn this weekend, you mean there's a chance we could get Simpson more for the rest of the season?
Not worth it to lose to those garbage truck worker's convention types........

The biggest issue with Ole Miss this season is (drumroll) Jaxon Dart. Dart simply isn't getting it done in crunch time. He folded against Kentucky and he folded against LSU. I don't understand how Dart isn't getting more criticism. Yes, he played better against LSU than Kentucky but Kentucky has a better defense than LSU (certainly a better DL than LSU). Yet in still when it comes to making big time, crunch time throws in clutch moments and making good decisions in crunch time (like not taking that bad sack he took against Kentucky) the guy has been lacking.
Dart's biggest issue is he does not read defenses well. There have been several times were there were obvious mismatches or defenses out of position that a pre-snap read would have led to a first down or TD but he just doesn't see it. I don't know if it's a him problem or if the coaches aren't pointing this out, but it's just sad the easy plays we have missed.

He was harassed all game. He folded due to being hit. Not really his fault.

I criticize the hell out of Milroe when he deserves it but the lack of criticism for Dart is appalling.
There should have been no excuse for losing to Vandy when Alabama has the talents advantage.
