I know Auburn fans are new to college baseball but pretending like college baseball recruiting is anything like the shite show in college football recruiting shows just how little you know.
It was a fricked up thing to do and Ole Miss will pay for it.
You don’t piss off the Baseball Gods.

Actually pretty surprised by this. With NIL, scholarships have lost a lot of meaning. Maybe they were just doing the kid a favor since his brother played here, but the optics of this are very shitty. I can say a lot of things about Bianco as a coach but I don't think anyone would accuse him of not being a high character guy. This is pretty shitty of him.

For real. Feel like they could've gotten some NIL money together for him to still make it work.
I guess Bianco didn't want a kid with cancer taking a roster spot.

I am guessing we are not getting the whole story.
Auburn has had multiple players go through fooball at cancer. Hell our kicker had or has a colostomy bag.
Football is big business though. At some point cant just keep all the soft spots and heart strings jerkers because of a bad situation. Same pricks will cheer when their favorite recruit chooses LSU over Ole Miss in some dynamic upset but nothing is personal right?? These coaches realize getting great players is part of job stability but the last minute flip is A okay for everyone.

And Auburn is staring down a 6th straight losing season
Auburn Baseball needs to cut down on some resources

Baseball has way fewer spots but every team usually has 4-5 guys that never come close to seeing the field. If you're gonna have 4-5 of those guys, let it be this guy. It's a bad look because he has cancer, it's a worse look cause he's the little brother of a guy who was integral to your national championship. I'm an Ole Miss fan and there's really no defending this.

I will fully admit that if this is true, it's really shitty and they should honor the scholarship. They should have informed him much sooner, and that wouldn't have been as much of a problem. Like I said, we should honor the scholarship offer.

Admit it. Angel Reese is the Football Gods mad at LSU for stealing from Children's hospitals.

I don't give a frick about Ole Miss fans or you. It doesn't make sense because I can't wrap my head around someone being that fricking shitty.

Pretty fricking stupid on his part. A kid fighting through that would be a powerful motivator for everyone else on the squad and would have earned the school a lot of goodwill.
Instead they now look like heartless assholes.

I don't think Iowa's the bad guy here.
Dabo would claim tampering here

I am not that sentimental. I dont know the full story, I dont even know why the team doctor has signed off on a kid playing while puking 17 times in a day.
Pulling a scholarship is out of character to what we expect these days which is exactly why I am hesitant to latch onto this idea that Ole Miss' coach is some monster.

Not funny. What if it were your kid?

They’re not the bad guy. I was commenting on fact that the Ole Miss poster seemingly thinks no harm, no foul because Brett Harris landed on his feet at another school.

Bianco has been a known a-hole for years.
On-field product isn't the only reason why so many OM fans are perfectly fine year in and year out if he's fired.
