There is probably a 20 or more year span of our administration not giving a single frick about basketball until later in the Kennedy era.
We’ve typically had good fan support even back to the Ansus Sesay days. But zero support from the athletic department.

The doofus doesn't even realize that Ole Miss has won hardware more recently in bball than Arkansas (who hasn't won any hardware since winning the SECT in 2000).

Some times coaches are great until they aren’t anymore. Bianco was great for a while. But we’ve historically choked when it mattered. We blow out an Ace’s arm every year since Bittle. We’re typically mid-tier at best at hitting unless we have McDonnell or the coach from ECU(can’t remember the name) as our hitting coach.
And now over the last two years, our pitching is thin, our batting is lower-tier, we were last in the league in fielding, and he doesn’t seem too interested in NIL.
He needs to host a regional this year or retire. We’re tired of the excuse that we lost one of our best pitchers due to injury because that happens every year.

Not a fan of either, but if I had to put money on the best program at the end of 2025, or2027, or 2030, I’d bet OM. Arky is a dumpster fire with a coach who couldn’t win at Kentucky, and seems to have a problem with players making passes at other players rather than to.

You’ve got the right coach now, they’d be crazy if they don’t give him what he needs to be successful. You may never get a coach like this again.
I’m very concerned about this game because of him.
