You kind of proved his point with this post.
You had to reach back 20 years to find 6 examples of big time national stage game environments, and they were all OOC games.
When you join the SEC, you'll have 6-8 of these games every season. Your normal conference slate will be your big games. The OOC games are the boring ones.
It's a great change TBH. OU fans will have an adjustment period to that, just like A&M did. But y'all are football crazy enough to adapt and up your fan game to SEC standards just like A&M did. Your tailgating scene will improve massively, and games will become weekend-long events, rather than afternoon-long events. Trust me, it's awesome, and in 10 years you'll wonder how you ever got excited for games against your old Big 12 foes. It's just a night and day difference in culture and once you get here, there's no going back.

OU gonna be looking a lot like Arkie when they come to the SEC

Bro,
Last year we had these games back to back
Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn
Even if you have a big game, it isn't sandwiched by 2 big games on each side of that one. You aren't ready. In this conference, even bad SEC teams can come in and wax you on a given Saturday. Then you have 6 days to prep for the next big game. It's a whole new dynamic that you're going to face.

Compare OU’s football experience to Ole Miss. it ain’t even close. They have one of the top fan bases in CFB. They’ll be just fine in the SEC.

You want to compare "OU's football experience" to the frequently #1 ranked tailgating mecca in all of sports? I'll play that game.

More national titles is correct but that doesn’t mean anything. Cowboys have a better following and tradition in baseball with one less national title than OU.
Minnesota has 3 CWS titles (last in 1964) and 4 poll era football national titles (last in 1960), and they don’t care up there unless it’s hockey or the Vikings.

What’s tough for Ole Miss isn’t for Oklahoma, that’s your first mistake. Oklahoma is vastly superior to almost every SEC team each season, outside of BAMA/UGA/LSU on any given year.
And It’s funny ….I see y’all giving each other shite about “easy schedule” all the time, so which one is it? Y’all contradict yourselves so much, it’s hard to take you seriously.

Lol double overtime 54-48 with the worst OU defense in history. 31-13 at halftime. OU lost that game. Period.
45-34 vs Alabama the next year with a terrible defense.
An OU defense with a pulse wins both those games. And that won’t be an issue moving forward. You’re scared and you should be.

Eating cold chicken fingers under tents with chandeliers isn’t #1. That’s such a myth. I’m talking about filling the stands. They fill the stands regularly just like major SEC programs such as Auburn or Georgia.
It’s hilarious having Ole Miss fans thinking they’re so relevant in football because they have the grove. Yalls stadium is what? 60K? That’s K State size. Y’all are the equivalent of K State with slightly better tailgating.

That's the joke for sure. If you believe that is all it is, I guess it just shows that you've never been.

Same topic that gets hashed on weekly it seems. Nothing new. It’s baseball. It’s not like basketball or football where OU has a history of more fan representation at away games. While baseball is a great sport and a championship we wanted badly, it’s nowhere near important as basketball and football. No one thought OU was going far. There was never an anticipation like there is for Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU, most SEC schools.
OU will be just fine competing in the SEC.

Ole Miss is undefeated against Oklahoma.
Try again.

I think that OU is better prepared than Texas. What will hurt Texas is that they won't be the belle at the ball anymore. They will simply be another SEC team and they will have to deal with that. They're moving from a conference that they largely control into a conference with a head office staffed by Alabama and Auburn alumni.

Yea y’all keep saying that. Idk…We’ll see.
You’ll see. It’s different when you play a top ten team every other week.
The grind wears on a team. Regardless of what you say, OU is not used to that it takes some adjusting to it.

Ole Miss plays Alabama, Auburn, LSU every year. Those three teams alone have won NC or played for NC in the last 10 years. Has Oklahoma? Try again

If you come to the SEC thinking that, OU is going to have a tough time. Every team but Vanderbilt can beat you on any given day.

As somebody already posted, what is an easy schedule for an SEC team is not an easy schedule for someone outside the conference.
