I’m not happy with the fact they got a tune up game after wed scheduled a kickoff game with them.

Eta….no excuses. If we lose, we lose.

I do not buy Into the “we now have footage on them” belief. They’ve ironed out some week one mistakes.

Hopefully Kelly ran a lot of real-game scrimmaging.

Ok, so I know FSU record vs LSU, and I do agree B K is a good coach. He will be installing HIS system and that takes time.

Having said that, we all know LSU has some elite talent on defense, Who knows how new staff does with it. Question for you is, how confident are you in your starting QB? I see LSU -3 vs FSU. I want to take LSU but a new coaching change, we all know sometimes is takes a few games. Make me like LSU -3

Anyone who claims to know exactly what LSU will look like this weekend is full of crap. I think Daniels will play well this season, but it is a new QB with a whole new system and staff. Can't expect them to play their best in the first week. LSU's defensive line should play well. I like the under more than either team on the spread.

Most likely Daniels gets the start. He was the #2 DT QB coming out of HS and had a solid FR season and shaky soph season at Ariz St with a lot of inexperienced players around him.

In the spring Daniels was inconsistent. He's done well in the S&C program and he's added a lot of muscle. he also was recently clocked at 21 mph so he looks faster than he was at ASU. He spent the summer working on timing with his receivers and reportedly was much more accurate in the fall. Our OL is decent, but has new starters and transfers so they will take time to develop cohesion. Daniels will likely have to make some plays with his feet, but he is a true threat. Our WRs are very good and RBs are average until proven otherwise.

I expect a close game through 3 qtrs and LSU pulls away in the 4th. The wildcard is always special teams and turnovers.

This was FSU's starters for week 0 and their recruiting rankings. Not that it guarantees a victory, but on paper LSU has a more talented roster, better coaching staff, and is playing an hour away from campus. We should win.

Nobody really knows what LSU is gonna look like.

Hell I don't!!!

That's why it's only -3

All of y'all who say FSU gonna win, GO BET THE HOUSE ON IT!!!

If FSU was throwing the ball all over the yard it would concern me. It will take time to gel in the secondary. They seem to rely heavily on the run and I think that plays into our favor. LSU by 14 pulling away in the late 3rd-4th quarter

perhaps if you put an "or" between those, you might find a real responder.

Of course, those responding so far already violated the first requirement just by responding....

Not so fast... I saw this same methodology (3* etc) when we opened against UCLA last year. Those 2 and 3 * dudes whipped our arse!

No fricking idea

This is the correct answer. There have been too many coaching and roster changes to accurately predict what this team is going to do. I think it's reasonable to assume they will have a lot of growing pains this year. I wouldn't touch this game from a betting standpoint.

Exactly my thoughts and wondered if FSU was not showing much and setting up LSU. I did add LSU to win -3 tho, Hope BK has Lsu players attention. The defense is loaded with talent, hope it's used right.

It hinges on our O-line play. If we can get the push and protect we should do well. If we don't it could easily be UCLA 2021 all over again.

If I am being realistic, I would say LSU will win every game that Brian Kelly coaches by at least 45 points.

Well, if this unbiased perspective doesn’t seal it for the OP, I don’t know what will.

i don't think installing a new system will be a big deal, considering there was no stable system in place to begin with. Back when i thought Myles was going to start, I thought we were going to have a great offense. Now, i really don't know what to expect. But, it seems Brian Kelly has some plan with all of the strategic moves he has made. I think our offense will be average-good.

LSU didn’t allow Alabama to run at all on them last year. Beings our D Line is even better this year. Florida State’s O Line is in for a long night. I think we easily cover the spread and although our QB hasn’t been announced we know Nuss’s potential and how good he is so whoever starts will be a solid QB and with our weapons on the outside we just need to limit mistakes and let the playmakers do the rest
