Gonna say this seems false. Nowhere else has any info linked and there are insiders everywhere who would have said something imo

If he did follow protocol and OSU runs him off anyway he will take the school for trillions.

I doubt that tweet.

OSU has been stringing this along for weeks now trying to let it fizzle out so they can slap him on the wrist and keep him. But every time it appears to be slipping off the front page, ESPN leaks another story and its right back in the headlines. I think they will say that while it wasn't the moral thing to do, Urban followed protocol and fulfilled his responsibility by passing the information on to higher ups. Then they will announce they will review their domestic abuse policies and Urban will have to take some sort of training and maybe do some community service or make a donation or something, suspend him for a couple of games, and the beat goes on.

Probably not very since he can't even spell the guy's name right.

my guess (which is probably all that anyone has at this point) is that urban will stay on leave, then will not be allowed on the field & will have to coach from one of the boxes for a certain amount of time. the A.D. will take the fall from this and be "released" from his duties with a stern statement from the OSU higher-ups about how they do not tolerate domestic violence, they are working to change the culture there, etc., etc, etc....again, just a guess

I believe that people who look back on this in 3-5 years will say that Urban couldn't have done much more. He can't 'fire' someone for domestic "allegations" when the police looked into it 25 times. He fired the guy when there was a criminal trespassing, as that came out in the news.

i think the Urban Meyer hate is 95% of the reason for this. I understand the hate and all the complete scumbag things he did at UF, so i get the residual hate. I just don't think this is as bad for a HC to do as others are making it seem (since nobody was charged)

When you have almost a decade of domestic violence “allegations”, urban was free to not keep extending his contract but he did. He gave him new contracts and extended him for more time and money. It’s time to admit Urban doesn’t give a shite if one of his coaches beats his wife.

If Urban is allowed to keep his job, there will be vocal demonstrations at tOSU’s games. Certainly at the away games, and it will be a distraction.

Urban had better be prepared to answer questions about those issues than he was at media days. A no comment or a non-answer won’t be sufficient.

Keep in mind that this is the same University that not only turned a blind eye to all of the egregious shite that Woody Hayes did but name its athletics building after him.

Urban shouldn't be coaching again but he will.

Doubt it. I think OSU is willing to wait this out. They’ll find some other people to put the blame on and hope that this eventually passes.

No way in hell he gets fired. Football mentality at that school is off the chart. If cops were indeed called twenty five times and the jerk is still on the street, something is bad wrong. And why did the wife keep hanging around for this shite? This is criminal, not university.

The person who posted that, Scarletfever, does have 19,000 + posts. Now they may well be trolling, but it's unlikely that they are a Michigan alter.

There should be an opening at Michigan soon and Urban will be ready

Or Notre Dame. That's always been his true dream job
