Misissippi State went up there a few years ago, but they at least played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough (Patriots). Missouri is playing on campus in Amherst (Central Massachusetts) at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, which seats 17,000 and looks like this:

It's the 4th smallest permanent stadium in the FBS behind 3 schools that just recently joined FBS (Kennesaw St, Sam Houston St, Charlotte). And Charlotte and Kennesaw's stadium were built in the last 15 years.

That's wild.

Missouri will always be a third tier program, should have stayed in the Big 12.

That’ll make them feel like they’re playing in Columbia.

And if we lose, it’ll top Alabama-Vanderbilt for the biggest upset of the year

What a wonderful opportunity for those UMass football players to be able to play against an SEC opponent at home in front of their family and friends! Missouri is doing a great thing by giving them this opportunity, it's great to see some SEC programs still care about the little guys and the sport of CFB as a whole.

I'm surprised they need a parking lot, tbh.

I would gladly trade mizzou to big ten or back to big 12 and get either Fla st Clemson or okla st

We don’t need the mizzou market

I know you're being facetious, but this is a good point.

According to this, the stadium at UMass would be the 10th largest HS stadium in the US. It shows all of the larger stadiums are in Louisiana, Hawaii, Ohio and Texas.

Arguably the biggest on-campus game they've ever had

P4/5 Opponents to play at on campus stadium

2024 - Missouri

2021 - Boston College

2019 - BYU

It does look pretty similar to DeKalb Memorial (15,600)

Yeah. I guess you think no other markets are important because the critical Louisiana market is already secured .

Even the cupcakes are now wanting home games from Missouri …. I guess the ad couldn’t find any other cupcakes to play since they are already plenty on their schedule !
