But I will start a thread about all the injuries we had and how nobody is talking about our injuries. It’s just not fair!!!

Bama is still on their win streak vs LSU if Tua and BY are 100%

Nah...I'm just pointing out that Ohio st fans are becoming very similar to the Bama fans that got their little pacifier-sucking feelings hurt and still whining about injuries and are not like UGA fans who take losing like real men/women and admit when we got beat by a better team and don't try to make excuses.

Actually, they are BOTH true; Bennett became the starter earlier in the season when Daniels got hurt. Bowers became the starter when Darnell Washington got hurt.

I thought it was real nice of Jalen Carter to pick up the LSU QB to protect the little feller from getting hurt worse than he already was.

Jalen Carter is a great American.

The Leghumpers and all the rest talk this crap whistling past the graveyard talking about other teams injuries and trying to compare it to the loss of Williams and Metchie for Alabama..in the words of Lee Corso...Not so fast my friends!!

We will never know and have no evidence what could have happened if those other teams players had not been injured..BUT....we do have a very good idea with Alabama.

With Williams and Metchie out there in the SECCG Georgia could not cover them. Never came close. The game was a rout. Indeed, they could not cover Williams before he went out in the national championship game.

The players we had behind them were good but young, and not NFL caliber experienced receivers like we had just lost and it made a big difference. Bama also had both starting corners go down.

So stop lying to yourselves and us Dawgs. Those two being out affected the whole gameplan.Once Williams goes out you go after Bryce Young because you don't fear the Alabama receivers anymore. With Williams and Metchie playing? You wouldn't dare play man and blitz Young would have torn you apart.

That close fourth quarter might have found you trailing again. We will never know but we do know what happened with both of them out there.

I started a thread a while back about this and got stoned by some Bama fans, but truthfully, even my Bama fan friends (the sensible ones anyway) tell me they are embarrassed about the whole Metchie and Williams thing still getting brought up. It was a Bama fan who told me, "Heck, the only reason Bennett was playing was because JT Daniels got hurt and Bowers was playing because Washington was hurt." So, some of them are not ignorant to the fact that UGA had lots of injuries too and didn't seem to hurt us all year.

Pro tip: Who gives a shite?

I have no idea what excuses or whatever Georgia fans made after their previous 5 or whatever losses. Because I don't give a shite. And if I do hear about it, such as with Texas and "If Colt hadn't got hurt", I just make fun of them.

You're getting sucked into a what if argument you can't win, because it's what if. Nobody who is reasonable can deny Alabama was a much better team with the 2 receivers and you'll just look dumb trying to say otherwise.

But guess what - it doesn't fricking matter. That's football. It sucks, but it's part of the game. Nobody wins a national championship without some luck along the way. But what actually happened was Georgia won, and that's the only thing that matters.

I've never seen so many fans from a team care so much about what a few fans of an opposing team says. They are just trolling you.

Last time I checked the games were won by teams, not individual players, from scout squad to starters, all contribute

J.T. Daniels was never hurt and Washington may have started game 1 when Bowers was a true freshman but that is not the reason Bowers was starting over him throughout the season. It's because he's 10x the player. Washington is a big bodied scrub.

Thank you for making my point...lol. Young, tearing us apart? lol Yeah, he tore us apart alright, when he threw that beautiful pass right to Ringo. We tore our living-room apart celebrating. Metchie and Williams had nothing to do with that. And Metchie wasn't on the field trying to cover Bowers and Mitchell when they made those beautiful TD receptions that won us the game.
Oh yeah, Bama is the exception to all things, right? Injuries don't bother other teams but it cost Bama the championship? May I point out, for the thousandth time, that we had injuries all season, that's why Bennett and Mitchell and Bowers and others were even playing. And those injuries didn't bother us much. In fact, we destroyed everyone we played. No one was even was close to beating us. Meanwhile, Metchie and Williams was healthy when you played UF, LSU and Auburn, all games that was close and Bama almost lost, and all three of those teams ended up with losing records. So, even healthy, I question just good Bama really was.
Nevertheless, I give credit to Bama for beating us in the SECCG...we had injuries then too, but hear me and other UGA fans making pathetic excuses, Bama was the better team that night. You see how easy that is?... that's how a real man/fan can face and admit the truth.

Washington is quite possibly the best blocking TE in the country and will likely be a first round draft pick because of it. He’s also not half bad as a reciever he just can’t match Bowers in that aspect. Washington is one of Georgias most important played on offense - he’s absolutely tenacious as a blocker.

Huh? He suffered an oblique injury and missed some games and never won back the starting job. Go look it up.
