There was a flag on MSU's interception. Picked up because the ref forgot intercepting Alabama wasn't a penalty.

In the last ten years (including this season), here are the final season rankings for OPPONENTS PENALTIES PER GAME. A high ranking is good, a low ranking says that your opponents have few penalties called against them.
Note that there are appx 115-120 teams in Division 1 (FBS).... but fluctuates most years.
Alabama's opponents penalties ranking:
2009 45th
2010 76th
2011 114th
2012 110th
2013 65th
2014 125th
2015 54th
2016 128th
2017 124th
2018 74th
Now, this is an unusual result. With Alabama's perennially strong defenses, you'd think that opponents would have more holding penalties, etc.
Not sure how y'all think the REC is doing work here. If we are paying them to influence the refs, we are getting crappy results for their money. The bottom line is that over the last few years, no team is more at a disadvantage in penalties than Bama.
More info and many more team stats can be found HERE.

Very disciplined team.
1. do you argue that they aren't disciplined?
2. how rare is it really that teams don't get penalized in 4 straight quarters?
I'll hang up and listen.

Chicken does make money off of all of us. And doesn't even charge to see y'all's hilarious melts. One of the more benevolent business people of our time, imo.

True, but I think the Refs showed what they can do when they're all on the same page.

LSU got as many penalties last week as Bama did in this game. Lost 29-0. Alabama also got penalized way more last week. Still won 29-0. What is your point?

No penalties on Bama? Isn’t that something...
Upvote for the website owner doing great marketing to get clicks on his site (as a former p.r. director, i respect this ) while at the same time getting a passive aggressive dig in at Bama.
