Mccarron was Dam good. Dam good. Look up what he did. This tua generational thing is overblown. He's a superb talent but as of "right now". Aj was the best I've ever seen at Bama. Can tua replace him? Sure, but he hasn't yet.

Please tell me you didn’t just compare Tua to Jeremy Johnson. WOW

McCarron is so criminally underrated

That maybe about to change. If he can get released by Cincinnati he's got a chance to start in the NFL next year.

I have no idea why Cincinnati, if they are so endeared to Andy Dalton, won't trade away AJ for some draft picks. There are plenty of terrible QBs in the league, in which AJ could help their team. If he he ever got to play regularly, I'd say he would end up ranking right in the middle of the League's QBs

Mc Carron can probably be a competent NFL QB, if given a real chance. He still has to have some help out there with him.

Tua has a chance to be special. He has to do it on the field in some more games but the potential is there for him to be a real game changer. He can stretch the field and prevent safety help, and make your LB's respect the pass. Deal with that, and you face the Alabama run game with not enough in the box. Get spread out and here comes one of those big backs.

I mean Tua looked pretty fricking good but he's going to have first year starter in the SEC ups and downs next season and frustrate the hell out of Alabama fans at times. The season is a long grind.

Let's see how he does after an off season of being hyped up and told he is the greatest QB ever and gets brought back down to earth in a full game. It worked wonders for Jeremy Johnson after looking unstoppable for 2 quarters.

Stidham was sacked again this morning by a 90 y/o anthropology professor, who was subsequently flagged for removing his pants and dragging his nutsack across stidham’s face.

We heard the exact same thing when Hurts started last year.

It is comical how bammers are building this kid up into the second coming.

He completed 56 percent of his passes (not good), and the winning touchdown was to guy absolutely wide open

Too bad bammers own shite team couldn't do that to Stidham when it mattered.

Congrats on backdooring your way into another championship

Not from me. I've said from Sept of 2016 that Hurts isn't a good passer.

I'm not ready to declare Tua a football god just yet, but he has a better skillset than Jalen. And it's not close.

Would you like to know why he was so wide open?

Thanks, congrats on your inspired play in the sec championship, ucf bowl, and managing to have nattie potential, yet losing more games than bama does in 5 years.

I'm not arguing, I'm just saying what the narrative was last year.

"Alabama has a dual threat QB now, that's scary" or "this just isn't fair".... You get the point.
