played with a lot of heart and spunk. The Randolph boy is a fine player.

Good luck vs Miami.

They did play well..Jimmie Taylor might be a really good player by next year I am seeing signs he is starting to get it.

It was meaningless basketball in a meaningless tournament..... but who doesn't like a win?

Also wearing road jerseys at home

when's the next time we're going to see that?

It was a huge win for the program and just the first step on the road to being crowned the 69th best team in the country.

I know right now its hard to imagine, but supposed Alabama went to the Liberty or Texas Bowl in football. Wouldn't you watch? Its no different from the NIT.

For most tide fans, never. That would require caring about basketball and going to the games.

I really believe that the 30 second clock had a huge effect on Alabama last night. They ran their offense with a great deal more urgency and quickness, and were very successful in doing so. I wonder if Grant didn't sit on his couch watching the game wondering why the hell he didn't try up tempo before.

I don't think it's any coincidence they found some semblance of an offense when they fired Grant.

From 1976 to 1978 in an effort to "reduce costs", while the SEC had a Saturday/Monday format, the home team would wear 'road' uniforms on Monday night and the visitor would wear white. This was so the visiting team wouldn't have to wash uniforms. Not sure how much that saved as that phase didn't last too long.

If you guys keep saying this, maybe it will come true some day. Unlike all your other Bama predictions.

Thanks for the info, but by your reasoning...Duke isn't really a basketball school since they are way down at 46 on the list. You would think the Duke fans would support their team better.

(Congrats on the win, UA. It might be a nothing tournament to some, but some of us wish our team was in it.).
